I did neither. I drove out there. And some guy on a bike flagged us down when we followed a sign to Pagsanjan Falls only to a dead end road …. He took us to the loading area. It seemed there are multiple places that offered as we saw people board canoes at other points on the river.

There were a lot of complaints from tourists about 10-25 years ago claiming that the Bankeros were very aggressive in their demanding of tips. I planned to include this in my 1st trip to The Philippines in January 2000, but changed my plans and spent another week in Palawan, which was probably the best decision I've ever made.
Palawan is amazing! This was a fun tour and the bankeros didn’t even ask for a tip. But the people at the falls did and at the restaurant we ate at afterwards.
Great vid! Do u have to know how to swim or can I wear a life vest to do this? Do u know if I can book if I stay in Manila to go out there for a day trip?
Hi no you get a life vest. We didn’t book we just went there and followed signs. When we were on the tour seems there were tons of different ones. Some guy actually flagged us down when we were looking for it as gps took us to the actual falls or tried to not tour. There are tours that can come pick you up in Manila.
Wow they took us right under the waterfall without helmets I thought I was gonna fall off the raft lol but then that was 40 yrs ago
