This worked perfectly. Thanks! I’d been following other vids and trying to press them down individually, but it worked first try with pliers.

Was it easy ?
@@nazimsakhri1558damn, it was 4 years ago now but I don't recall it being very difficult. I know I was probably cautious so probably did it a bit slower than in this video but the end result was that it worked first time and I saved money on not needing to buy a crimper.
Very helpful thank you very much.
Great help, I followed every step exactly like you did. Didn’t work first time, no problem I have a pack of 100 connectors and got it second time. Thank you Andrew!
Glad it helped ! Thank you very Much for watching.

Thank you bro, you have sub ❤
Really helpful. Thanks
Glad it was helpful! You're welcome.
I fix the network cable myself. Especially when the copper wire is pulled apart, it is easy to break the thin wires one by one. After breaking, you can only align all the dividing lines and cut again . I am noob
Thank you so much

Superb useful video
Thanks for your comments and Thanks For watching ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
advise: there's a n extra wire inside the cable you pull and drag it and it slices the casing vertically, instead of slicing the cable and twisting it back and forth like in 1:30, this way you won't slice the insulation on the internal wires by mistake or degrade the metal wires by twisting it, both mistakes introduce noise to the signal slowing the connection, no use getting a cat6 cable and make it perform like cat5e, it's almost twice the price
Thanks for your advice and guidance.
Thanks alot ...
Most welcome. Thanks for watching. ❤️
Very informative ❤️
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Couldn't do it myself but I enjoyed the music 👍🗿
Very nice👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Like a pro. The amount of time I spend faffing about with these, when as I go to push it in the wires change order, or you end up with two wires going down one pin slot and getting stuck. Never ever stay flat and in the correct order when I put them in.
"wires change order" This part 2:56 holds all the wires firmly and pushes in the wires slowly.
"Never ever stay flat"
come to this part 3:00 right hand hold the connector firmly and the left hand push hard and squeeze in the wires deep inside to the connector.
3:05 from here you can see all the wires reach the end. If not push hard and squeeze in the wires again.
Thanks for watching.
@@AndrewSME The video works perfectly and explains it all. Thank you mate. No need to write down what's shown in the video.
wow it is so simple with out crimping tools
Thanks For watching. have A Nice Day. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
thought the dude was gonna cut his finger off. Geez that's scary to watch!
1:31 So, when was the last time you needed stitches? Yeah, *very* dangerous to use a snap-off knife that way. Place the wire on a firm surface to slice the exterior insulation.
Niceee dudeeee :D
Thank you so much. Thanks for watching. 💗🌹
Can u tell where can i buy the pin for the ethernet cable please BTW nice vid bro.
Thank You very Much. You can buy the RJ45 connector from computer shop or your local country online market place by search the Keyword "RJ45 connector" Thanks for watching.
@@AndrewSME ok thanks a lot bro.
Is there a way to safely remove the connector? I'm planning to remove and reconnect the connector so that I don't have to drill a bigger hole through the wal
NO, you cannot remove the RJ45 connector then reconnect back the connector.
@@AndrewSME thanks anyway. They're dirt cheap, so bought a bunch. Unfortunately I'll have to throw away the other 49
Had this same problem. Glad I saw this comment first. Will also have to throw away 49. 😞

Can I connect a CAT 5 cable to a RJ45 connector and crimp without any tools i.e means by hands only?
What is the color of your Cat 5 cable ?
can i re use the lock?
the lock thing in the end of the cable?
Sorry, locking clip broken cannot repair. but you can buy the PATCHLOC rj45 locking clips. Thanks for watching.

Welcome ! Thank You
Why didn't you cut outside of the small cable first?
Thanks..let try this on my neighbour wifi connecter..😥🤣
from which shop can we buy connectors?. can you tell me
You can get it from any computer shop. or you can buy from online store.
I just need to know how you put it back on pls reply on how
watch 2:55 hold the wires firmly, then slowly slot into RJ45 connector. Is this what you meant?
Andrew SME no I just need to know how to put the tab on
@@Nixll_ lol
Thanks. next video skip the background music as I could hardly hear you
Sorry about that, I will take note on it. Your suggestion is for Video with voice better do not put background music right? Thanks for your advice and Thanks for watching.
thanks, but i have no idea what you said cause of the background music.
My cable stop suddenly working, it didnt break or anything, it just stopped working, do you know what the problem might be and how I could fix it?
Try to narrow down the problem. Make sure is it the problem came from LAN cable or from the computer problem. Few ways for troubleshooting by exchange RJ45 connector to another LAN port at your Switch hub or use another LAN cable to verify. If it is LAN cable problem either one of the RJ45 connector problem or cable broken.

Andrew SME alright, thank you so much, I really appreciate your help
we can’t change the connector, without cut it ?
It's been a pretty long time since I've done any of this, but I'm pretty sure you have to cut to replace a connector.
Did you see near the end where he was pushing down over the cable and then pins, and each different part popped? I'm pretty sure those are locking mechanisms that can't be unlocked again.
wont i die from the electricity?
Who else thought he was going to slice his finger with that craft knife?
Basic was good. Music too loud, could not hear what you were saying. Maybe switch the camera to show what you were pressing down with the needle-nose pliers.
No background noise/music please.
not work for me
Bought a 35 meter lan cable, broke that plastic thingi, thought i has to get an entire cable again.
Hope it helped . Thank you for watching.
@@AndrewSME absolutely thanks a lot
Use crimping tool
Yes Thanks for sharinf.
Crimping tool is much easier to fix the RJ45 connector. czcams.com/video/TbnLlYvnoZc/video.html
But for those user doesn't have or not necessary to have the crimping. They can use this method.

Wow ! Don't worry, FBI wont care about this small thing. FBI got BIG thig to do..
Breaks every health and safety guideline ever written. And who works over a woolly rug? Is the guy Asian or Welsh?
You should change the title if its not an actual REPAIR but REPLACEMENT
Because that means we have to BUY another tip (that will also fail easily at the end)
Yes, I Got It. Thanks for your advice. PATCHLOC rj45 locking clips is another alternative solution. Thanks for watching.🌹💗
Worst surface to do that on...
and remember to have the connector in the right orientation or your cables will be the wrong way round!
yes, Thanks for sharing.
Co może pójść nie tak xD
Ez now I can play csgo with low ping
My cable has 4 wires
Connection will easily get loose
yup hands is better
Thanks for watching.
I appreciate you showing us how to fix (replace) the plug. But I find it hard to understand if you already have a crimper on hand to properly replace the RJ45 plug correctly. This is not good for the connectors as you bent the plastic very poorly and could later cause a very bad connection in the near future. I strongly do not recommend this type of DIY for a first timer, plus this can cause injury to them if their not careful. PEOPLE, Please use the proper tools for this so that you don't have to repair the plug down the line in the future or have to injure yourself also. REMEMBER SAFETY FIRST!!!
Before the invention of tools people used the laymen method, there may be a certain class of people who don't want to spend extra money on something they can fix themselves it's safe from an environmental point of view , so reduce reuse and recycling.
Your fingers will injured soon with cutter and the surface of towel also badest
Is anyone there to help me this I'll pay it.
