I am from Delhi but want to study in Gujarat for higher studies. I am confused between Ahmedabad and Surat. Someone told me that people in Ahmedabad don't like outsiders. I am a pure vegetarian so that is not an issue. I really want to come to Gujarat because I like it's culture. Please tell me how are the people there? Will they accept me? Ola or uber cab/ auto doesn't come inside the station to receive. They call us out of station. We have to drag our bags to board the vehicle.
Yes, Ola Uber pickup is outside the railway station. Local autorickshaws are easily available inside the station area.
