- Tools of War Presents The 2009 True School Park Jam Series, founded by Jorge Fabel Pabon and Christie Z-Pabon and in association with Rane and Serato.
Afrika Bambaataa, Kool DJ Red Alert, and The Original Jazzy Jay reunite on the wheels of steel for the first time in over 25 years. Many have neglected the fact these individuals are primarily responsible for the genesis of hip-hop culture. Noisemaker Media was at the right place and at the right time. At the True School Park Jam Series, Noisemaker Media captures historic moments and creates engaging edits that promote an event that brings together DJ's, B-Boys, and Hip Hop enthusiasts alike.
The True School Park Jam Series is made possible by Christie Z Pabon [Tools of War, DMC USA] and Fabel Pabon [UZN, RSC, Tools of War]. Their hard work and dedication to the preservation of DJ and hip-hop culture allow for once-in-a-lifetime moments like this.
NOISEMAKER MEDIA: Mark Carranceja [Director, Cinematographer & Editor]
TOOLS OF WAR: Christie Z Pabon [Co-Founder & Event Coordinator] | Jorge "Popmaster Fabel" Pabon [Co-Founder & Staff Videographer] | Grandmaster Caz [The Host Forever]

Nothing beats a good park jam. People need to bring it back to these type of venues.. to the gymnasiums, to the schools, to the commuinty centers, to the rec rooms, to the parks.. yea..True hip hop!

The spirit and essence of Hip Hop culture.
"They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)" is a song by Pete Rock & CL Smooth
Over a saxophone and bass sample of Tom Scott's cover of "Today" by Jefferson Airplane. The 12 second intro is sampled from the 1971 song "When She Made Me Promise" by The Beginning of the End
That's deep I thought that was Huge Masakela.....the genius of Hip Hop DJ's
You know your shit dude👍like to mention that 3rd Base Product of the Environment Dj Richie Rich remix was from the riff was from the Doors the Soft Parade basically the last 2minutes where Ray Robbie and John just start setting it off into a funky riff...
The genius of taking something under the microscope and then see how it expands in meaning. And thank you for the citations.
