- A little tutorial on gas collection. We look at different ways to obtain gasses and do some basic logic automation to control the process. I will keep the logic explanation as simple as possible so hopefully everyone can follow.

Essential videos for anyone new to Stationeers. There are some great content creators out there but Mick's videos are up to date and very to the point.
I'm saving my arc furnace for the kilo of hash I managed to smuggle to the Moon. I about spit out my coffee when you chucked yours into the abyss lol.
👍👍👍
A couple of newbie questions:
1) I notice that you use 5 MPa as your max pressure quite often, but from my research it seems like most pipes and tanks (other than portable and canisters) have a burst pressure of 60 MPa. Is there a reason you favor 5 MPa?
2) In this video you hook up your old furnace to your main reclamation tank to get H20. You then automate the "igniter", is there a danger of explosion if your main tank has both H2 and O2 in it?
1. I like to use the pipe meters to show the pressure and they only go up to 5MPa. So purely an asthetic choice.
2. Yes. Dumping a hot furnace into the reclamation can also cause ignition. My system is set up to remove all H2 immediately to prevent ignition.
Can you discuss this topic in regards to the moon?
Ice and smelting are the only sources of gas on the Moon and Mimas. I find playing on the Moon is missing a lot of gameplay elements because of this. But it does present its own challenges. Make sure you are collecting all of the outgassing from the furnace and collect lots of ice.
I'm not too far along but I hooked up a pipe system and tank to my furnace before I even turned it on for the first time. I figured since I'm on the Moon I better collect every atom of gas. The plan is to sort it out later and that looks to be the next video.
how are those big tanks called i cant find them in constructors is it in pipe bender.
get your small tank and scroll it to option 2
