Ft Explorer maiden

- Hello everyone! Today we have the ft explorer. During the first flight I was experiencing some problems with my receiver and transmitter. Launching the plane at full throttle, looking back at footage and I realized I lost aileron control! In the second flight everything seemed pretty good until I got to about 75% throttle. That’s when the motor instantly stopped and flew over the park gates ! Unfortunately I lost the plane and still can’t find it guys, so we’ll never know the real problem. Maybe it was the receiver and antenna location, I hope everyone can learn something from this video and always fly in a safe location or limit your distances! See you in the next one stay creative!

You know why l like this channel? The videos never feel "staged" or heavily edited. You do what most of us do. You built, you fly, you crash, you fix, you fly and repeat the process. And maybe during that process you even lose a plane. It happens. Heavily edited videos make me feel like I'm doing something wrong when my maiden flights don't go perfectly or, in some cases, horribly wrong. lol Keep the videos coming. I want to see your successes and your failures that led to the successes. :-)

This cracks me up! It probably got stuck to the windshield of Hippy driving by in a VW Bus... and he figured it was just a big bug.... 😝 I feel your pain though... my first fpv I actually had the goggles on and was thinking "wow, this is amazing" as I watched it heading towards the horizon ... then the picture started to flutter...then I realized "I need to turn it around" ... lost picture... plane went down somewhere in the woods around a land fill in North Carolina (near Charlotte) I spent 3 hours in the woods... found three other planes! But never found mine... 😥 Keep up the good work, love your vids! 👍

I kinda thought the same thing, figured it landed in the bed of a pick up truck and it half way across the state.
I lost an Explorer too, was trying to get some footage of an approaching thunderstorm while flying fpv and the storm hit much sooner than expected. The wind took it somewhere far. I would have looked for it right away but tornado sirens started going off...

What a capper i have lost several planes and i,m sure they go to another dimention I lost a drone one day in the green grass I swear i saw it land but but wasnt here ...Sucked up into the missing sock world never did find it maybe yours land ed in a pickup and is now in La ..LOl keep going man

I had my Mini Talon crash land onto the street and a semi driver had stopped and put it in his truck and then took off right as I was looking for it. Hopefully nobody stole your plane man 😢
wow man thats crazy brother ! The trucker was probably so excited. I always say I rather someone find it and hopefully it makes them want to get into the hobby!
That was really strange. Where the heck did the plane go? Unless somebody picked it up as soon as you crashed and drove off with it. Where would it be. I hope your find it and get it back.
two days later still cant find it brother! I really think it landed on a car. But I also didnt see anyone out their cars.
Next time fly up high enough for at least 2 of those mistakes before trimming ;) Luckily it's foamboard and you're flying again in no time.

sadly no, Ive been going back throughout days still nothing unfortunately! lost over 100 bucks with the runcam and everything else.
@@crossgenrc3235 I could tell, ughhh, it flew much further than you think, I've had that happen before, I would check the next 1/4 to half mile further down wind.
Dang, man, that's crazy! Your plane just disappeared into thin air! Have you had any luck finding it? I know we talked briefly on my comment in another video, but it sounds like now's a better time than ever to get a J-Wings plane to you. I'll DM you about it today. Let's get that plane replaced.

Beautiful plane Bro! Shame that the plane shutdown on you mid-flight and it was lost... you should use the ViFly 2 Finder... it helps you locate your Drone / Plane / Car in the day-light or even at night with an high-pitched beeping tone; a MUST have for every RC Modeler!! I have one on my D66 from Defiant Wings and most of my other rc planes too.
