Facts. I started watching his vids recently and quickly subbed. Knight knows the art form. He listens closely to skills. The lyrics, the cadence, the flow. I’ve seen a ton of reaction channels and not one I’ve come across shows the knowledge and appreciation to the art. I’m a traditionalist in this and truly appreciate the art, and seeing him also appreciate and know was very satisfying. This is a true hip hop head channel. Bruh I use to shut my ears to Em at 1st, it wasn't til sometime after 8 mile that I started listening to him. The Stans at my high school made me not wanna listen to him. I remember the exact day I became a fan and it wasn't even because of a song, it was his character. BET use to have a video countdown on Saturdays where a rapper would show their favorite music videos of all time. Whatever rapper came on the #1 video would be whatever single they were promoting at that time, i.e. Nelly showed "Hot in Here"... But Em didn't do that shit, when he was about to show his #1 I thought he was gonna show "Lose Yourself", nah he showed "How I Could Just Kill a Man" by Cypress Hill, I was in awe, the dude was humble asf, then and there I became a fan.
EM has never been one if my favorite rappers... But his skills and attention to the craft is undeniable. He may not have songs that speak to where I grew up but he is relatable to a large majority of the music. And he brought us fifty and slaughter house. EM is a rappers rapper no doubt
