Yes, Tae's father was extremely crooked, but she should have tried even HARDER to tell Tae that she was investigating his father and having him arrested. (I mean, he is also a crime fighting lawyer that would be smart enough to understand facts) From Tae's perspective it WOULD seem like betrayal, especially since they were engaged.

As an author I know you have your ending.. but as a reader the only scenario playing in my mind is - " Y/n has already lost everything now. Broken but still determined she takes the case and prove what is right. After when everything is settled in the court and the truth is out she walks out of Taehyung's life without saying anything and doing anything. I am sorry but seven years of relationship and he took only a minute to break everything. I can understand it's about his father and things can get tough but he should also have atleast comfornted Y/n and hear her. After seven years he didn't know her. It's better this way"
