another miracle at Vailankanni, "The Great Asian Tsunami on Dec 26th " While thousands on the nearby beach and adjacent buildings died during the recent tsunami, 2,000 attending Mass inside the church itself “miraculously survived” (in the words of an official shrine statement) when - as we earlier reported - the tsunami’s waves, rising as high as forty feet, smashed homes and hotels on the same elevation, but spared the shrine. “It was not damaged or anything,” says Father Xavier. “It did not even touch the steps of the shrine.”

Some of the best people I know are from Mexico. They are the most generous, hard working and some of the smartest people I know. They don’t get the recognition they deserved. I pray that Mexico will get better.

Velankanni Basilica is 500 miles away from my hometown and I am very blessed to be there atleast 8 times in my life.And I am sure that each catholic from my state visited this site atleast once in their lifetime.
You could really feel her presence there.A lots of miracles happened and happening there.
A few years ago , the tsunami hit the coastal area but didn't touch this church!!!

Thank You Father - this is one of the most Beautiful Shrines we've ever visited 🙌💞 15 years ago I was living in Montana, preparing to move to Texas - I felt a calling to get to Our Lady of Guadalupe s Shrine for Her Feast day! Nothing was coming together for the move, but She kept asking if I trusted Her - sure enough after First Saturday Service I left and was able to get to Mexico City for Her Feast day 🙌 Thanks to Bob & Penny we were aware of our Lady & the Archangels Shrine near by! We hired a driver to get to Ocotlan & were invited to go up to visit Her going up through the back stairway in the Sacresty - from there we went to visit St Michaels Shrine where we had our Marriage Blessed on our 26th Anniversary!🙌🙏🙌 This entire trip was loaded with small miracles! 💞🙏🙌 When Our Lady calls, She provides the way! Praise God & His Lovely Mother!🙏🙌💞

For sure! When Our Lady calls you answer! I knew I was being called in the year 2000 to make pilgrimages that year but I didn't know how it would all work. I was a Spanish major and studied that year in Mexico and Spain. I went to Guadalupe on January and from there to Rome for World youth day where another pilgrim told me, after hearing me say that I didn't know how but I was going to Fatima and Lourdes. She said Our Lady was calling me. I didn't think anything of it until recently. I did go to Fatima and Lourdes, as well as all over Spain and so much more! So many miracles that year! By the way, I became a Marian Helper in the year 2000. I owe a debt of gratitude to the Marian Fathers that I can never repay. I learned the divine mercy chapter and total consecration to Jesus through Mary. And try st Joseph consecration. God bless the Marian fathers!

I truly enjoy these early talks. I actually know a little bit about this devotion because Our Lady of Good Health was celebrated at St Gabriel’s during the weekend of September 8, 2023. I actually had to fly to Boston that weekend, so I was not there, but there was a special mass, rosary procession and celebration. God willing I will be there for it next year. Thank you Father Chris for filling me in and providing additional details. I did not know about the rescue of the Portuguese sailors. I just love the way that there are multiple significances to September 8th our faith. I was also told that the Divine Mercy devotion is growing in India.

I am from India and have visited this place many times seeking intercession of Our Lady of Good Health for sick persons and they have been completely healed miraculously. One was for a blood cancer patient and the doctors couldn’t believe how it happened that the new lab reports do not show any trace of such an illness. 🙏🙏🙏

Yesterday I attended the birthday party of my friend's one-year-old son, and my friend had a birthday party, at the time I was attending the thanksgiving service. the guests prayed and praised glorifying the name of God, and they glorified the name of Jesus, then suddenly I thought, and I spoke in my heart, the people praised and glorified the name of God but I am here but they do not know who I am, then sadness arose in my heart, I raised my head and looked at the sky then I prayed and talked to God, I looked at the sky, suddenly in the sky the face of Jesus appeared, the more prominent head crowned with thorns, and the body of Jesus being crucified on the sky, and after 5 minutes I saw the face of Mother Mary suddenly appear, after 5 minutes Mother Mary turned into a white sheep, then I stared straight ahead while saying a prayer to God. Suddenly I felt sad and cried, when I cried the shapely shadow disappeared and the cloud became pure white, then it occurred to me that, I have two beings in one authority, I can be a father and also a mother, that is Jesus and Mary .
Thank God l have had the chance to listen to all the messages.l am getting all close to me to keep trusting Jesus and Mary our mother

Father I am from India. I visit Velankanni almost every year. I know of a miracle which is in early 2000's to Rani John, from Kerala India, who had Eucharistic miracles. When she visited that place, she saw Mary coming down from the statue and she was given a black rosary by our Mother Mary. Later lot of miracles that happened in her house.
