I almost never block (unless I’ve knitted lace). I just wait for the first wash. I’m just to keen to wear what I’ve made 😂

I have a question ! so i'm making a sweater and i'm using acrylic that I want to soften after I finish the panels. Can i do the softening process at the same time as the blocking?

Hi! I recently crocheted a cardigan and the bottom edge tends to roll up a bit, the yarn I used was an blend of 82% acrylic and 18% nylon and I was wondering if I would be able to use wet blocking to fix it or if another option would be better

i think steam blocking would probably be best! as it uses some heat it would be best for synthetic fibres like acrylic and nylon! just make sure to not use too high of a heat or it may melt the material!

hey! yes shampoo should work! and in terms of ironing, it depends on what fibre you use as if you use something synthetic the iron might melt it! if you iron i would recommend using it on a low setting :)
