I'm surprised by how well this works. All you need now is a safety cover and a blade guide mechanism and you're all set!

Great job, yes! Yet, I would place a safety frame around the not used part oh the band and some bearing system to stabilize the band when cutting.

Looks good but it's scary at 6:24 when he pushed the wood against the blade and the blade belt moves back around the wheels towards the structure of the machine. I think that with just a bit more of pushing it could get off of the wheels and harm the operator. It would help if there was guards around the blade. I had an accident once with a small band saw so I can say that this is not a harmless machine. When the blade breaks (mine broke once while in operation) it doesn't use whip or so, but I wouldn't take my chances.

This is an amazing band saw.. I am currently making one.. How thick are your wheels? and what size bolts are you using?
This is a nice little band saw you built. I saw the video with the upgrades and it really made this a very nice bandsaw. I've been wanting a decent bandsaw and this is nice. If you have the measurements of the bearings that would be great. Any other measurements would also be appreciated. I don't use social media so if you need to contact me use CZcams to contact me. Common bolts dictate the common bearing size. Common plywood thickness dictates the size of the saws's wood disks and blocks. The rest can be estimated from the video, stop motion, compare dimensions with reference to finger and hand size. Plus or minus an inch or a few centimetres is not a big deal. Common blade size, buy one, pick a common wheel diameter ( bigger the better, less blade flexing fatigue), cut out some cardboard disks and mock up blade/wheel path and see how much throat depth you end up with. Draw a frame work around the wheel mock-up on a sheet of plywood. Lay out the big pieces hight and width to get good use of 4x8. Large-ish cut offs are good for blocks and wheels. Glue up duplicates to the bulkiness of the common dimensions of the ply you bought . Review the video many times and others like it and tweak/accessorize out your own build. Building the jigs and tools to do a project is half the fun. Good hand eye practice.
