Morehouse College | BACCALAUREATE 2024 | REVEREND REGINALD WAYNE SHARPE, JR. '13 |

The traditional baccalaureate service speaker will be Reginald W. Sharpe Jr. '13, senior pastor of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. Pastor Sharpe holds esteemed credentials as a charter member of the Academy of Preachers and an inductee into the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers. Additionally, he has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor in the Religion and Philosophy Department at the College.
Since assuming leadership of Fellowship Chicago in December 2019, Pastor Sharpe has overseen remarkable growth, even amidst the challenges of the pandemic. Notably, he spearheaded #TheVirtualShip, a virtual extension of the church's ministry, engaging an average audience of 25,000 people weekly.

Tomorrow on Malcolm X's birthday, May 19th Biden will be the commencement speaker a HBCU Morehouse. This is an insult to our ancestor. It is against the wishes of students, faculty and alumni. This is also an insult to our ancestor, Dr. King who would have spoken out, protested against it as he did for the people of Vietnam. Protest is due to his policy (g word) in Gaza. When speaking about giving his speech, Biden could not remember the name, Morehouse. He called it that other place. Hopefully this will turn into a reelection campaign PR nightmare for Biden. Hopefully Students will protest as he speaks.
