Not What I Expected in this Philippines Market! 🇵🇭

- I did a little exploration around the central market here in Iloilo and was surprised at some of the things I found. I started off with Roberto's famous Siopao (steamed bun) and went to the local market to find a nice hat.
It's so hot in the philippines my camera was overheating, so this vlog is a bit of a mess, sorry!

Hi everyone! This was actually recorded before the last video, but I was having a few problems with my camera that took awhile to sort out.
Whay camera do you use and editing software ?
@@daletravels23 go pro black 10, I normally go 4k 60 fps but I've had to turn it to 1080p when it's so hot like this.
For mic I use a rode lavalier mic, with the rode wireless go transmitter (first generation, not the go 2) transmitter.
Because of that I use the media mod for the camera as well. I'm actually looking into an audio setup that is separate from the camera because the media mod drives me insane by not always picking the right mic.
I use Adobe premiere to edit. I've never tried anything else, it's just what I'm comfortable with.

you need to go to lapaz public market for batchoy and go to molo for pancit molo. And linaga in mandurriao it's so delicious "D' Original Tata linagaan"
You can get a twenty-peso hat from thrifted stores, but not brandnew ones. Sidewalk vendors are also trying to make a living so they have to mark-up their prices. 150Php is already reasonable.

I know it's unhealthy because there are a lot of pork stuff that can make your cholesterol go up. Therefore, it is preferable to walk a lot to burn and lose weight. Pulo or sampu is 10 but in bisaya when it comes to money we used spanish which is Diez . When counting things in bisaya pulo.

Taterr! You should definitely visit the province of leyte if you have time. Lots to see here, from mountain peaks to gorgeous lakes and breathtaking islands and beaches. Although a bit of traveling might be done but I assure you it will be worthwhile. Appreciate your vids and showing people what Philippines has from the big cities to small towns and provinces is definitely nice to see.

There is sometimes a sauce that comes with the siapao. Its a thick sweet sauce, ask for it next time! Also dont forget the cheese ice cream!

Hi Tater! The guy at the last portion of your video was supposed to be an Herbal Seller. Don't get scared of them they were kind people though. Some of them can't really speak English. The Herbal Medicine he put on your palm, was supposed to use as "Detoxifier" or believed to be "Healing". The dirt (dark pigment) had been scraped on your palm were body's toxic. It's super common here in Philippines they sells those stuffs. Have a Good Day Tater, Keep Safe and God Bless you!

Hope you put on a sunscreen for protection, the temperature we have and the afternoon sun these days are crazy. Having sunburns with this temperature would hurt a lot. Take care on your travel here

Tater! Manggahan festival is being held at the guimaras island right now. Its right under iloilo you only have to ride at the ferry or boat called Fiber. I highly suggest you going there

Dont worry even in locals they sell a higher price the next thing you should lear is to "tawad" or bargain with seller because we filipino love to buy something but if its expensive we do the "tawad" so we can buy it for a lowest price filipino loves to tawad because we are kuripot sometimes😅
Of course they sell their products for a higher price than the original cost of production. Otherwise how will they earn?? I think it’s disgusting that a foreigner is haggling our vendors who spend the whole day on the streets while only selling one or two pieces of their goods.
