firstly I want to say thank for your devotion to this channel and reaper as a whole! second, Ive came back to Reaper from Ableton after 2 years (hate the limitations of it regarding signal routing and organization but it is great for making music) and this basically is the functionality of racks which is absolutely insane and part of why i went to Ableton in the first place lol. man, Reaper is such an amazing piece of software
In my opinion, a 10 minutes long video from KG is the proof that there will always be something missing in this A.I thing: the human factor. Merci et bravo monsieur Gioia !
So this is just like having another bus from the first FX channel with those effects on it except you cant balance all FX at once easily againsts the first. I guess its neater than having extra tracks in the arrange window.
Exactly how I think about Containers, plus the possibility of having other FX after the Container (in parallel), that applies for everything in that Track, but for some reason, for me could cause missing visibility of what I have in the Mix, unless I have the FX window open, 🤷♂ maybe I will use this for some specific case
Obviously important to fully understand the native implementation, but Sexan's "Paranormal FX" script will change everyone's life using parallel/containers.
This is great!!.....question i have is how would i set the container to pre fader? If imyteying to parallel compress a vocal aux would i need to do it to the unprocessed signal?
Pity that those new FX options do not benefit some user-friendly graphical management like the Routing window or the way Studio One manage parallel FX with boxes and virtual patch cables... 😞

Man, I’ll bet the protools folks are pretty excited to have this ability in 10-15 years.
Wow, Kenny is a Posting Frenzy tonight!

Could be very useful on a bass DI track, since I don't have to split it into 2-3 tracks for processing it in 3 different ways then.
i just finished learning studio rack and now these mfs have it built in god damn
Reaper 7 seems like quite the jump. Feels like the future.

can you use containers to route drum vsts

Yeha the ui really needs work. Maybe they'll work on it now that the capability is there
I noticed he wanted to add a "gae" and not "gate".
