I would guess he constantly did that and punk eventually got fed up. It's pretty obvious that Punk knows the frame data for key moves for every single character, he's one of the best SF players in the world it's pretty stupid to think you can teach him or any top players about moves that you HAVE to know in order to be able to compete in tournaments.
This could have gone much better if SonicSol could communicate much better. Punk thought that SonicSol was talking about the cr LP punish but SonicSol meant the Stand Strong punish. Yet sonic sol (after punk complained) typed: "cr LP cr LP" (refering to Punk's punish that he did in the match) and Punk understood that as "You should punish it with cr LP cr LP". What a mess of miscommunication and hilarious misunderstanding. It would have been prevented if he simply typed "Stand Strong is a better punish"
Absolutely nothing to say when he's getting roasted lol immediately bans someone in his chat because there's nothing he can do or say to punk lol tries to cope and say punk is like him lol goes back to watching the vod trying to correct punk as if he's right lol
Sonic should't have said anything after the match was over. He knows that Punk would have been a little salty, as Sonic himself has also experienced the same things with his own chat. He wan't wrong about the optimal punish, but to fixate on that punish so much and than double down was very stange and uncalled for... The match would have still been the same if Punk did the optimal punish or not tbh, and to think that the best Cammy in the world, and argubaly one of the best players in the world wouldn't prepare or know about all the situations fighting someone like MenRD was really foolish. He probably was just in the heat of the moment, and when the Blanka ball came, autopiloted to a jab punish. This kind of thing is very common in high level matches, and is nothing out of the norm. Even when you want to be optimal, it's not always possible when your mental stack is full.
Man, you can see with the smirk how happy he is to get ammunition to play victim for his later video to "defend himself" (which he eventually privated). Even when responding after Punk blew up on him he chose to be the smart-ass and say "we can run it" and was so inappropriate for the situation- plus he took the opportunity to keep stirring the pot by continuing to say "CrLP CrLP".
Kinda seems like SonicSol saw the opportunity to use the reaction for clout (he even used this for a follow up video, which he later privated) rather than just saying "okay my bad" and stopping. But instead he was being sly and egged Punk on, despite Punk blowing up. You can even see how he tries to hide his grin behind the mic.

It's also a thing where Punk didn't go for the more optimal punish because of match pressure rather than simply not knowing the matchup.
