Short video to explain step-by-step installation of the GROM MOST (GROM-MST4) interface into E90 non iDrive behind the stereo.
You will need Philips screwdriver and panel removal tool and around 15 minutes.
After installation you will be able to attach USB, iPod/iPhone, AUX, Bluetooth or Android phone into BMW E90.
Once GROM is installed and connected you will gain the following functionality:
- USB port to connect and play your music from USB Flash Drive, iPhone/iPod/iPad, and Android phone
- Bluetooth integration (GROM-BTD Bluetooth Dongle is required) for hands free phone calls and wireless music streaming
- Optional 3.5mm phone jack with USB charging for any music source (MP3 player, iPhone, etc...)

Ok, thank you for your clarification. This feature is supported as well. But there is no prediction on which application it will activate, as it mainly depends on the phone and the applications/media players that are installed.

The adapter connects to the CD changer port at the back of your stereo, or in the trunk. The adapter then provides AUX input, as well as USB, iPod, Android phone and Bluetooth connection. Check our website for more info.

Hello. Yes you can use the steering wheel controls to operate the unit. Such as answer the phone, skip the track up and down. If the CD changer function in your car was not activated, you will need to go to the dealer and program the car for the CD changer. As for teh complete video, what do you want to see? Thank you.

You need GROM-USB2P-BMW. Does your car has nav? If it does, you will need trunk set up, if not - dashboard (behind the stereo) or trunk will work.

I have a BMW Professional Radio in my 2010 BMW Z4 there is no USB in port, there is an Aux port however. What I would like to know is do you have a GROM product that can make my radio more up to date, plug my Iphone 5 into, be able to see what is playing on the radio screen, and still be able to use my Steering Wheel Controls?
Just installed GROM-USB2P-BMWS and everything is working well, except for one thing. When I enter the car and turn the ignition on, how can I set the GROM module to automatically play the song that was left off?

I have a BMW e90 2011 non-idrive and I don't have a CDC installed, so there's no such thing like CDC on my car radio's menu??

I'm curious as to how this kit can work without any coding of the CDC on the MOST ring. Normally BMW are very strict about the items on the MOST ring network. If the vehicle has existing CDC then sure its not a problem to install this product. But if there is no CDC pre-installed in the vehicle, would it not require additional programming from the BMW dealer or some aftermarket console like Autologic?
If you do not disconnect from the battery there is no need for the code. but it is always good to have it.

I have a 1series (2009 E87) with a professional radio like the one in the video, but the stock radio was the business.. So now i don't have the AUX option, but i have USB option, but don't have a USB socket in the car. Do GROM has a similar system like this for 1Series? And if it has, would i have to program the radio/car ECU for USB/AUX to work?

hello, i have installed the whole thing and almost everything is working. the bluetooth mode is working perfectly bud the usb/ipod mode nog. i can hear my songs bud i cant get to the next track or previous track with the radio or with my steering wheel and also cant fast forward or back. the only thing that works is the volume buttons with usb/ipod mode. i hope that you can help me out here.
through Bluetooth that is. I have to manually push the play button on my phone in order for the music to start playing. I just want to be able to enter the car, turn the car on, and have music start playing (like most cars nowadays).

Will this work on 2009 328i xdrive? I have no USB or Bluetooth right now. The only I have is the AUX input in the armrest glove department. Also if it does work? Will require coding after install?

Note that the stereo should have CD MP3 Changer function activated. If it is not activated you will need to ask BMW dealer to activate this function for you.
Once GROM-MST4 is installed you will be able to integrate iPhone, Android phone to your car stereo, as well as stream the music wireless via Bluetooth (GROM-BTD Bluetooth Dongle is required). Thank you.

yes, it will work. But you will need to make sure that the MP3 CD changer option is activated in your vehicle. If it is not activated, you will need to visit local dealer and ask them to activate that option for you.

Hey, could you help me out? I have AUX in my BMW 3-series E90 inside the arm rest thing, but it won't show up on my main radio harness, got any ideas to why it ain't showing up?
Do you have the OEM (original) AUX or GROM AUX? What year is your BMW? If you have GROM AUX for BMW< I recommend you to contact tech support using gromaudio website. For OEM AUX I recommend you to check AUX cable that you use and make sure it is not defective.

Hello ! i have a BMW 320d 2005, It has the auxillary port, but in the stereo it does not figure the word AUX at all , it can only be turned to Radio and CD ! The AUX port is of the fabric ! Please can you help me ?

Hi everybody. I have an E92 Coupe diesel. It has oem BMW Professional music system without usb. There is only AUX input inside the center armrest. I don't like the use Ipod or similar MP3 player when I drive the car. What's the best way to get original equipment? From BMW Service or anywhere :) Thanks
