Can you enlighten us on the battery contacts used in the mower itself? This will determine whether a new charger and bms could be used.
I have an aged Makita battery that won't charge on the official charger, so I sort it on a bench power supply capped at 21v and 0.8A. I use two slips of flat copper slid into the battery and the crocodile clips off the psu.

Oween, the BMS is out of circuit so no balanced charging, over time some cells will go low, no doubt. Will cells pop out of the case to check individual voltages? Cheers

I think the plan is to add a dyson socket to the battery wired into the right places.

Thanks. I looked it up. It’s an 18v. Needs to be 24-27v.
