Exactly 10 years ago, I released the music video for 'This Is What It Feels Like'! I love this documentary! I think they should be more of this! Armin is my favourite DJ ever! I discovered him in 2010 i think with In in out of love song! Since then I have loved every song, every GIG of Armin’s! My fav gigs when I go to gym is Armin’s gigs it really gives me a good vibe!!! A true legend!

Little story about this song recently actually. So last month I was walking along the river at Kangaroo Point cliffs here in Brisbane, Australia at sunset with my girlfriend talking my experiences at festivals and shows about what to expect at your upcoming show in my city (as it has been a very long time since you played here solo) and we walked past a lady sitting down with her dog having a picnic and she was playing this song, I turned to my girlfriend as said hey it's Armin, everybody likes him, you're going to really enjoy this show it's going to be extra special and something we don't get often here.
That show you ended up playing here at The Fortitude Music Hall was in the top 3 shows i've seen from you out of the 8 times total (since 2008) i've been lucky to attend, so a big thank you for being my girlfriends first concert and making the night special and creating some amazing memories for us.
Keep on doing you Armin we will always support your creativity!

I remember when David Guetta released a remix of TIWIFL and the video in CZcams had way more dislikes than likes.
But the original mix was broadly accepted in the trance community after listening to it a several times. It has such a sticky melody, and Trevor has a warm voice that even the people judging Armin for the lack of trance sound in this track would end up singing once the chorus went on.
I don't have anything else to say. I love the nostalgic vibes now whenever I hear this track, and I'm really happy about being able to listen to this new version.
This song is very special to me. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was in Bali in 2014. I hired a driver and he’s playing the song in his car. He asked me if I listen to EDM. At the time I do not know what the music genre is. Then I went to Ibiza that same year and saw a handout.. it was Armin’s show at Ushuaia. My friend convinced me to see him and my expectation was really low. We went there and he ended the show with This Is What It Feels Like (orchestra version). It was hard pouring rain, I was filled with indescribable emotion, and I felt that the song has been guiding me, or trying to lead me to somewhere. When I returned to the US, first thing I did is listen to more of this new found EDM especially Armin’s work. I obsession started and I knew I had to see him again and it lead me to Ultra Miami 2015. From that day I became a “raver”.
Fast forward to 2019, I was able to see Trevor Guthrie sing it live during UNTOLD festival in Romania. And once again, it was under a hard pouring rain. This is good memories I will bring until the day I die. ❤

What makes this record extra special in my opinion is that it all came about at a time when DJ-Producers and the small teams around them were still so pure, even at Armin's level. You can see from the way they speak in this video that they were coming from a really humble place, without hinderance from the massive amount of repetitive social media marketing noise that we see so often with today's releases. The music was the priority with this song. We need to go back to that.
