1/ People want to use their own hardware/software.
2/ It is such pain in the ass for people to set it up and most people will not, unless they are server pro.
3./ When the new DLC maps come out how the hell are you going to transfer your stuff to another server, if you only have a single server and don't have a cluster?
4/ They want us to ask Nitrado for a licence to run other servers
5/ And you have to have over 10k followers and become a Nitrado partner WTF

I played Ark since the beginning. Dealt with bluescreens, laggy gameplay, toxic players and late night breeding (before cryopods) and non-responsive tech support. When they announced they were closing their servers I deleted the game for good. Felt like I was leaving an abusive relationship. Never going back. There are many other companies that treat their customers better and care about their products.
This was my experience as well. These devs are a shady bunch

I played Ark on Xbox, and Xbox already had the Nitrado only server issues. It ended up killing our little community when Nitrado doubled the monthly fee. One thing you don't mention, which wasn't obvious to me until I chatted with our cluster owner, is that each server hosts ONE map. If you want all maps, it's that server fee a month times however many maps in the cluster. It's so absurdly expensive.

not sure if their was a change or not but i see a tool for ASA Dedicated in steam.
I'm currently running my own server on my own hardware right now. It's limited to 1 server per steam account, but thats fine until we have more maps for clusters

Neddy is the chillest person you'll ever meet, I was fortunate to be able to work on his survival stories as a body actor. The fact they pissed him off that much... you know they messed up badly.

Glad to have been following neddy and nooblets old tutorials taught me alot in my childhood to play it. Knowing the community has combined together and currently just saw the decision has been rolled back. Great work to the entire community and creators and developers for standing up to this.

Hosting your own private servers and playing with your friends should be a mandatory option for these survival type games whether it is ARK or Conan Exiles. This must always be an option in the game's main menu! I really hope the players create an online petition and make their voices heard by these big companies CEOs.

@@mikewilkins959 Hopefully they don't get sued, and if they do, we should be there to back them up. Unless they sue snail-games directly, there we would have an opportunity to make wildcard free of chains.
When I heard they handed over server hosting right to a single company I figured this might happen. I didn't care much about Official servers but forcing ASA players to host unofficial and private servers on servers from a single company is wrong. It may even violate laws in some countries. Like anti-competitor laws and price gouging laws.
@dstyd I don't think it will since you technically still can host your own. You're just limited to 1 ark server (world only, can't do clusters) per steam account that has purchased ASA. :(

wild card did what they felt they had to to try and stay afloat to get ark 2 out and hopefully get out from under snail games and nitro. snail games is corrupt to the core.... the only game thats done well from snail games is ofc ark....... they had 2 other ark wanna be games fail and never even make full release lol.

Agreed I almost exclusively play single player on ASE as well. This is pretty fucked.
I play single player too. But hosting servers is a basic feature of survival games. This is pathetic, even from our perspective (as you guys have said).
Yeah and that is great, but for someone like me who exclusively plays community hosted servers its a deal breaker so i cant justify it. Its a huge bummer because the actual game looks awesome but the server side issues are so horrible it wont be worth it.

I'd say you might be right except for fact that Snail games was one that did this because the management was running company into bankruptcy. It was really a bad deal and was Wildcard/Snail Games did not make out on it, only like 3 million which going to lose in long run when people say FU to Ark and ark2. Most other corporations are as greedy but not as stupid as CEO of snail games is and would never agree to such a cheap deal as Nitrado got.

I've played Ark for a long time with my friends and for my CZcams channel so I will be sticking with Ark Survival Evolved where I can still do that.

Firstly thank you for speaking up, far far too many CZcamsrs are saying nothing about this, in the hope they will be able to keep creating content, if things don’t change soon I’ll just continue on ASE and not bother with the same game, better graphics option, I mean I’ve never been happy with the idea of a remastered version of ASE under a new name. I wanted ARK2 but even that was starting to sound like a complete mess. Loads of other great games will be made so I can wait it out tbf.
Majority of the 'big boys' are getting servers for free, part of 'sponsored' content, like the majority gets the games they play for free. It is that part of the community, the industry, that wrecks everything thats remotely normal.
Guy nobody wants to watch you guys struggle to hit trees, and attack people in thatch houses, they want to see us wage 80 people cross server wipes and watch a literal end game battle unfold
@@user-kx7es1hn9d Not me. That whole PVP 80 person cross server tribe war end game BS is boring as hell. if I wanted to see that I'd watch Battlefield or CSGO matches (Which are also boring). I stopped playing ASE official about 1 year after I started playing and went to private hosted servers and never looked back and after 14K hours in private servers, I can honestly say I enjoyed those far more than official could ever have been.
If I were to join ASA official now, I would only build pillars and place them all over the place and leave to another server to do the same and honestly, with what is going on, more players should do the same on official servers to kill them so that Nitrado and Snail see that what they have done and are doing will hit their bottom line which is $$$

I am so glad you're standing with Neddy and exposing this crap. We really need the others in the content creator world of ark to come forward and join you too. I have asked a few to step forward. One has said no, the rest have completely avoided it. Id imagine that most won't care about us lot if they are offered a partnership with Nitrado. They would more than likely get a free cluster and not see the issue with it. We all know the drill by now. Boycotts only work if everyone gets on board. This is the one time I think the ark community really NEEDS to be on the same page. If we all stood firm, something would have to change.
Most big Ark CZcamsrs are talking about this and all have the same view, it's disgusting and just flat out greedy. There's only a couple big CZcamsrs that aren't complaining and it's cause they are sponsored by Nitrado putting out discount codes in their videos (yes I'm looking at you LoadedCrysis)

I saw Neddy's vid yesterday and it seems like they all keep digging the hole deeper. Thanks for spreading the info and I hope it helps them realize that, even from a business perspective, doing the right thing can pay off in the end.
For people who only need a single dedicated server it is still possible in the same way as ASE, only it has to be tied through a steam account. If you download the dedicated server through the steam client (in library under tools) you can launch a dedicated server and play on the same machine or different machines.
A 👍for being one of the few people in the comments that is actually correct. It's a crappy situation with Nitrado-exclusive paid hosting, but it is not dire for community-run servers. I don't even blame Nitrado tbh, they are just a company trying to get money they were owed.
@@dr_fish yea but the irony is by charging such a crazy price it will turn most people that hosted big clusters away. So in the end, they’ll make less money than they would have had they kept prices the same.

@@dacubanmofo That's a good point. I've also been thinking that with Nitrado getting a cut of sales, they really don't have much incentive to be good hosts/burn lots of money running more servers when they rake in the money either way.
By "community run" I just meant groups that have already come together and just want a place to hang out. That could mean private servers they put a password on or public servers. Specifically, I meant to imply dedicated servers that were not hosted by Nitrado, though those could also be "community run."

I only ever want to play on my own private cluster. Need ark server manager for ascended to be available, but thinking of refunding this now. Servers crash,p all the time. I must of started a new play we on 10 different servers

Thank you for this I had a feeling something was going wrong with non-dedicated. I had to bite the bullet for my community. Nitrado made a new purchase option. 20 slots for £17 so that's what I have done. I annoyingly took the cost on the chin so up to 19 people can actually play it (PVE) :D I feel so bad for the larger groups who cannot host their own clusters now, that's just brutal!
Nothing’s wrong with non-dedicated. Either way it’s impossible to play non-dedicated with a Nitrado server or any computer that isn’t being played due to tether distance among other reasons. Don’t worry about that part. Nitrado can’t physically charge for non-dedicated

Hi Steeve! I played ARKSE with my kids, friend and brother. We played on Nitrado with 5 people on a 10-slot subscription. To play ASE now I have to
1) pay more than double for 26-slot hosting
2) buy another copy of ARK for myself and each of my kids (I would like to point out that we all have ASE - the full package)
3) I have to invest at least 1000 bucks for new GPU - 3 graphic cards. Additionally, invest in other PC components
It's a gaming nightmare. WC and Snails are going to lose their shit trying to get some easy bucks.

@@DragonT4 It's not been that bad for a while honestly. My gaming rig has lasted me 4 years now and still going strong. I'd say if you start with a decent machine ($1200-$1500 range) it should get you a good 4-5 years before you really need to do much upgrading.
Nitrado is kinda a problem but don't be mad about having to upgrade your computer. This was meant to be a graphic and engine overhaul so it's gonna be more demanding

Been following Nooblets for awhile, he's by far the best "no bullshit" content creator. I supported ASA and Ark 2 way before I discovered him and over the course of the past year I no longer wish to see these games come to light especially under snail games. they took a game loved by hundreds of thousands and did all they could to destroy It as non suspiciously as possible. I use to play and host my own servers especially on nitrado, including rust and 7 days to die servers but as of this video I've done transferred all of my servers to different hosts and deleted my account with them. don't support them, let them see the error of their greed. they'll keep doing what they want as long as they still have people who support the horrible decisions they keep making and covering it up with lies to entice more people.

As a ASA small tribes player i have to say you dont need to worry about getting offlined or raided by a big tribe since the server crash every 15-30 minutes after coming back up and then rolling you back like 20 minutes. Conclusion PVP is kinda safe for newer players until Nitrado actually gets atleast decent servers up

It’s such a shame that all the hard work from the actual artists and developers is being overshadowed by all this bs. ASA had the potential to fix and surpass ASE, to be a blank slate to fix their issues and public image. Instead, it’s looking like the more appealing option will be to stick to ASE or quit the game altogether. I really hope something changes because from the server hosting limitations to the in-game issues and poor management, it really feels like they’re just purposefully trying to kill this game.

If it comes to only single player, Evolved becomes the more atractive option (at least compared to ASA). Costs like 1/4th what Ascended costs, has all DLC's available, mods, most players already own it and is at least somewhat playable in modest hardware.
Problem with that is they plan on killing ASE private servers by December 2024

Thanks for the warning Steve. Myself, my wife and a few friends enjoyed playing ASE on a small private server and were hoping to do the same with ASA. Given this SG/WC/Nitrado monopoly bullshit, seems we'll be giving ASA a miss if we can't rent a reasonably priced hosted server or run a private one on our own hardware.
This is disgusting, such a keen piece of info held out. I eventually moved to unofficial years back and havent regretted it since. Nitrado also really showed thier true colors taking this deal in the first place.
It lets you create a server by yourself. I played it last night and that was an option

@@dacubanmofo At the moment there is a work around to host Ark Ascended on a different machine without the need to buy a second license or going with Nitrado. I can have 70 players on my server at the moment and its working perfectly fine. I still agree 110% of what is being said in that video. There shouldn't be a work around to do all this anyway in the first place. It think its disgusting and they would sale more copies of the games if they just let people create their own server without any hassle. Personal unofficial servers IS what make this game alive. I think the game "SCUM" should do the same, I would buy their game as well if I could host my own stuff without having to seek for a provider.

I watched your stream, then checked for dedicated server on steam. It didn't exist, so it never made my list for purchase. ARK is only playable in private servers. Your heads up is definitely appreciated.

but you can host a dedicated unofficial server, I've been playing on one. The post he's referring to just clarifies by saying that you can only have one server associated with one Steam account (so no clusters). They haven't said you can't, they've put outlines I'm assuming to make sure other companies don't find a way around it to host their own for rent (Don't get me wrong I'm also against their ASA exclusivity) and I mean you're probably right about pricing, I definitely can see them upping prices randomly if this gets more popular since their contract is at least 3 years.
Appreciate the information, was thinking about buying ASA. I've played ASE off and on since the beginning. I would say over the last 3 years or so I've played on private servers. Think I'm going to hold off on buying and if this doesn't change won't buy at all. Was really pumped for Ark 2 but think I'll see how that even goes when its rolled out before buying now. Don't want to get stuck with a game I just uninstall in a week.
The way the comments were locked on steam after some ungrateful individual said that nooblet was lying about public hosting and that public hosting had always been an option (it wasnt) really got to me. We owe this person and other content creators for helping to keep the servers in the hands of the people allowing there to be more options available. I dont mind if a company has the option to make money but allow publically hosted servers to exist too. This is important for community well being. I made huge bases on official servers (in survival evolved) putting up with awful rates (thinking the server was safe from wipes) only for the company to wipe those servers.
There is literally only 3 of us whod be playing on a server. £10 a month was a bit steep for that especially as other stuff came out but £21 ? Thats insane
It has been dropped to £15 a month with minimum slot count down to 20. Its apparently due to ram requirement for asa being x3 of ase and the cost/min slot drop seems to be due to ark reducing server ram requirement down 6GB (down from 14-16 to id assume 8-10)
I knew this was an unpolished money grab from the start. Really sad to see Ark die like this. But this is the last straw for me. Thank you for years of fun videos @Nooblets! I hope in the future games similar to Ark will be made by developers who genuinely care about their product.

Ark SE is still there. The official servers are gone, but you can still host your own servers (not through Nitrado either) and enjoy it with friends in private or in Single Player.

For me this decision has upended the entire playstyle I prefer and the only way I could replicate it would be through paying obscene amounts of money, even then it will be INFERIOR to the older game. It is a total deal breaker and one that is so outrageous that it is driving away mega fans of the game, for cirtain players such as those on official its the same old but I dont wanna deal with the mess that is official or be bored in singleplayer.

Other content creators have cut deals with the liars at Nitrado, normal dudes that thought Nitrado would act respectfully based on the things they had previously told us regarding Private non commercial hosting...they are not speaking of this.
While I cannot blame them to some degree, they should probably reconsider their association. The community which watches their videos will stick with them long term if they stand up for what's right...while I can't speak for others, I turn them off when I hear them rationalizing or only glossing over this glaring problem.
It's offensive how duplicitous both Wildcard and Nitrado were. Playing word games to hide their intention and keep up the hype.

Given how in the hole I suspect Snail Games (and thus Wildcard) is, I assume Nitrado helped provide money to get the game released, regardless of playability state. People so eager to play would be more willing to pay, and a subscription might last longer than the actual playtime

I agree, as I've seen several content creators continue to make videos and support ASA with no mention at all of the insane unethical shit they have pulled. I would go as far as to bet that alot of the really big ones got their copy for free and are in bed with Nitrado, WC and Snail under some sort of contract so they can't say anything.

Alot of content creators are in WC/snail/nitrado pockets and can't do shit otherwise their would be no more funding.

Well i have played ARK SE for more than 7K hours and loved it. Played with friends on private rented PVE Servers, Played around with mods. and really enjoyed the game. Hearing all the bad press sorrounding the new ascended and ARK2 i decided to copletly delete it. and has now put it as just another great game that is now only kept in my memory. R.I.P. ARK

I do play solo, and worry about the impact on my game, but I always assumed I could go online when I was ready. Keeping a close eye on this. I wouldnt have made it this far(almost 4000 hrs) without creators like you, Neddy and others!
Most of my hours have been single player as well, but I had been getting more into playing on clusters and if I'd purchased ASA I would have liked to do that again. I'm not buying the game in this state though with all the broken promises. In my money it's $65 right now and I don't think I'd want to pay more than $10 - most likely the game will die before it's been around long enough for that kind of discount.
Man the game is so much more fun when you play it socially. Progress faster. Better dinos. Etc etc... but i get it if you like to go at your own pace.

I've noticed an alarming trend in the EULA of open world sandbox RPGs like ASE and Space Engineers over the past year. In their EULA they specifically state that you do not own the game you purchased. You in fact are only leasing the privilege to play their game (not your rightfully purchased game) and they can be completely blocked from even your offline play of the games through Steam/Valve Corp Admin without any provable breach of their EULA guidelines and can do so on a personal whim. People say Steam/Valve isn't a monopoly but being able to arbitrarily block use of your property (without possibility of refund) is part of being a monopoly and straight up THEFT. I'm not surprised by this occurrence at all this is a major E Sports game and they cater to what brings them the most revenue that being repetitive tourney players and sponsor/ad revenue! Didn't believe these claims myself until I read these 2 games latest EULAs.
I warned everyone about this in the forums, on my review, and in other channels over a month ago - I was laughed at when they put the checkbox in the game to hide everyone but Nitrado when I filed an Anti-Trust complaint to my state's Attourney General's Office.
But that's exactly what this is, it is anti-trust violations which are criminal in statutes and EVERYONE should be filing these complaints becuase as enough builds up, the state attrouney gneerals will be forced to seek a legal remedy.
Although I don’t mind the single player, I really liked how the community of ark got together and overall loved the feel for playing with others taming, raising and building together. I was playing ark since the beginning and progressed the most and funnest by playing official with real life friends and family and made new friends along the way. It’s sad that greedy, money grabbing companies are ruining what could become a legendary game and never have everlasting memories

What I find amazing is all these content creators knew all the bad things Snail and Nitrado were doing and still are supporting them, along with so many that watch are buying and supporting them. They don't care cause they have your money now and I expect it to only get worse. As Nooblets already posted a video no point in going back to ASE cause they can shut all that down on us for good. Best way to hurt them is not buy it if you haven't, not make content on ASA and not rent a server from Nitrado. Sadly the majority will do that regardless of what happens and then complain even though they knew it
I've always played on official servers solo or occasionally with my dad who also is okay with playing official. The lag spikes and rollbacks suck but i just tell myself its intended content to get set back losing a flyer or something else due to disconnects. I did occasionally rent a server from G-Portal for a month or two to play modded with my dad so having to switch to nitrado and learn their system is going to be annoying. I'll probably play official for awhile before i touch mods or hosting a server

I don't mind the grind but I also have a life and can no longer be bothered being forced to log in weekly to avoid losing all my progress. I have yet to upgrade from my 3060 but seems to be running well on medium settings.

You can still host from home but it now requires you to use a steam account that owns the game to create the server, once server is up you put steam in offline mode on server computer so you can now go log in your main pc to play. The shady thing is you can’t host multiple maps from what I gather, basically 1 map per account that owns the game. I even have the dedicated server in my steam list now, just took a day or so to show up.

the problem is even if all our favourite creators used to ASE server systems do leave due to the change there's always more people desperate to get into that area of ark influencer, and they'll just end up paying Nitrado even if it means their content creation is barely profitable/costs them money. People don't care about crossing the virtual picket line, and the quantity of videos hyping the game wont diminish, even if the quality drops off.
Well there actually is a partner system in place for "influencers". So long as they have over 5k subs they get a special deal.
By these rules, our only path to unofficial is by having our preferred ark tuber host servers for us to play on

Perhaps I missed it in the video. How is Nitrado preventing people from hosting their own server? Also, not sure if this helps or not, but in one of yesterdays patches, steam DRM was disabled which I think should make it easier to host private servers.

Steam DRM has been disabled for the ARK: Survival Ascended Dedicated Server & Anonymous Depot has been made available
Open up Ark SA, look at the server list. All private servers not using Nitrado have been hidden as of December. They're making it so now the non-natrado servers won't even be displayed even by a checkbox by making them direct-connect (IP connect) only by entirely removing them from the server browser.
And from what I'm hearing from some people, the server won't even allow IP connections any more unless it is registered to an IP on the Natrado network block which I'm sure that's what this video is addressing.

On a note regarding the performance: If you turn off the fluid and foliage interaction and the volumetric clouds (r.VolumetricCloud 0 in console), you can almost double your FPS with minimal fidelity loss. For me (RTX 3090), it even is more than 2x

they probly just ported their code line by line without actually trying remaking the game for UE5
the clouds are the biggest giveaway, if they used compute shaders and nautilus those are completely free, but disabling the gives like 20fps so it proves they just slapped stuff ontop of their existing framework instead of taking the time to learn how these features are meant to be used
Bro start a petition for ppl to be able to host servers with their own equipment! I play on official pve and sometimes i like to play some unofficial boosted servers. I can see why this is an issue cuz Most people dont wanna deal with official cuz of the lags, servers capped, pillaring, griefing and massive bases. Makes it difficult to play with friends

Thanks for raising the red flags. I think it worked. They changed their minds about hosting your own dedicated servers. We host two dedicated servers on our own iron. Have been doing so for a few days now. So what is being reported here was true on day one (and two and maybe three) of ASA's release, but it's no longer true.
Yes, Nitrado does have a monopoly on rented game servers, which sucks. But you can host them on your own equipment. We're doing it just fine.
And in case anyone is confused, I hate the Nitrado decision. Sucks. But we can use our own boxes for a dedicated server now. I know they didn't allow this in the first few days, but it's working now.

Completely agree with you. Trying to get Steam to refund the game but because I played longer than 2 hours (wtf is 2 hours on a game like this!) their first reaction was to refuse. I asked for a refund again. Such a disappointment, not only the bugs and crashes but also not being able to choose our own host.
If you're Australian tell them it does not work as advertised, and warn them you will file a complaint with ACCC if they don't refund
I started on a server 6 days ago, everything was great got 4 tames and built in a cliff could add to auto favorites and lost everything. Looked forward to hosting a server with Nitrado, that is impossible with the prices!

Ark thought it was a good idea to only have Official server space for 1700 people per region (4 regions) No one is going to convince me they thought there would only be 6400 total players on Official throughout all regions when they had 50,000 people watching the livestream waiting for the trailer. They did this on purpose to force people to buy Nitrado servers in order to play online.
yes, clear as day this is a business plan with the peopl who loaned them millions of dollars and literally are the reason the game exists, they want their money back.
Not defending Nitrado and monopolies are never good for consumers, but heads up there does seem to be a 10-person option in the "customize settings" option you show at the right. I'm in the US, though, so maybe it's different here. There also seems to be a discount for longer terms. A 10-person server looks like ~$155 USD per year, or $13/month.
What about their Horrible Routing issues, Rubberbanding, and packet loss? 13$ a month gives unlimited internet in India, that also 500 MBps
In Canada the lowest is 26 slots on Nitrado, which is $375.49 Canadian a year. I hope they at least fix tethering in the non dedicated multiplayer, that way I can set the tethering further then 180m so my friends and I can do our own things while playing together
A friend of mine ended up renting from Nitrado in the U.S., and even when you customize your server slots, it still a mandatory minimum of 26 slots . Nitrado gave some explanation as to why, and if memory serves, they said it was because of the graphics and how much RAM was needed, or something to that effect.
they initally said three days ago and it also said so in there terms of use that you would be able to run 1 free privaye server, and now today they come out with this and that you have to pay. So no, any defense isnt good enough. Just a money grab, its bad enough everyone has to buy the game again and all DLCs. This is just disgusting money grab, they dont give care whatsoever about the players. Better to just walk away.
Well great, they must've read this. I checked again now and the 10 person option seems to have disappeared. The lowest they were suggesting was 26, but on the right most "Customize / Create Your Own Configuration" they had 10-person options when I'd checked. So much for me looking for a silver lining, this is pure trash.

I was facing the same issue earlier and actually the officially Nitrado FAQ says you can host your own server and there is also a dedicated server build available on Steam. So at least for me and my few friends playing together it should be fine.

Thank you so much for making this video. I was planning on returning to making ARK videos with the new release, but I can not support Nitrado's stranglehold on servers. The only way these executives will listen is with the bottom line. Don't support the game until it's fixed, don't buy the game, and especially don't rent servers until these shady practices change. I love ARK and have for years, but until this is fixed I'm done.
I understood it as you can host one server privately and free of charge to play with your friends, however I think it should be expanded to one server per type of map to be able to get the full experience of ARK just from buying the game and without having to pay Nitrado. If you're making money out of hosting servers then it seems to be at conflict with Nitrado being the exclusive commercial hosting provider.
Yeah... I've been playing official PvE and it is super fun, but as you said, the servers crash ever hour and you get a rollback, there are indeed pillar/foundation spams everyone (even in areas where nobody is building), and the NA server are full 24/7. Ill enjoy this game so much more when they fix the servers.
I was so excited to play yesterday when i got off work. Felt an absolute gut punch when i saw there was only 20 NA PVE servers, and every single one was full. I just wanted to play the game and trade my dinos with other people, took over an hour to get me and my gf into a pve server together and decided we dont want to deal with this until more servers are out. Really really sucks, especially since there were hundreds and hundreds of servers on ASE

This is why I just play Single Player, now. I had paid for a year for an Ark Mobile server and Nitrado rolled me back, accidentally, and this was after they could only recover the past 24 hours, so I ended up losing hundreds of hours of builds and progress. Never again. Thanks for letting me know, so I can share.
Thank you for speaking out, alot of ark creators i follow did not and are playing it like nothing wrong ever happened. I was very tempted to buy it, my friend though had to refund his because he couldnt even get the game to launch, and he has a decent setup more than enough to run it. He spent hours troubleshooting it. But to then find out that theyre doing shady back deals and breaking their promises I will not be supporting such greedy behavior, the changes look great but us the customers need to be respected. I will not even be watching ASA content from now on because it feels like im inadvertently supporting the worst parts of the gaming industry today. But again thank you and keep up the great work you do!
I wasn't buying this while Snail Games were still the publisher anyway unless they sorted the Tea issue out and banned accounts but stuff like this just puts me off even more. I used to play official PvP but I no longer have the time for that so I was playing on private servers that suited my play time more.
And you want to bet that after they kills ASA they will set their sights on ASE. They will either start to force ASE players to migrate to "approved" servers and official servers, but the approved servers will have that protected tribe or will be run by the various partners in ASA.
They already have, that was brought up in the contract.
