I don't know any other artist that is so hellbent on bringing back the eighties, as Tommy is.
But that's a good thing! He has invented his own niche.
Not being mainstream gives him personality!

Remember, when Tommy does a cover/tribute there is always an easter egg. The guitar he is using is from Europe's guitarist...but wait. The usage was limited on recording this song and performing it live.

Tommy plays this on an original Kee Marcello guitar. Kee was Europe's second guitarist after John Nerum (?).

We definitely need this kind of music and musicians. Thanks Tommy! ! Don't let music like this die! The range of Tommy's voice is absolutely incredible, he has the strongest and purest voice, sings with such passion and he delivers a fantastic interpretation. One of the best vocals that hits the perfect note at the highest level of vocal range. And all the instruments that have played,his creativity, passion for music, vision, charisma, all are unmatched!
The list of awesome groups to cover. From the late 70’s into the 80’s. Is extensive to say the least. It’s a treat, that a super talented musician. Loves em like we do. Puts his own stamp on covering them. Keep ‘em coming Tommy 🎉

When you started playing Tommy’s videos, I was like “why does he look and sound familiar” then it hit me, I got interested in him when he did Swedish Hitz Goes Metal, he did ABBA and Roxette, he’s got videos you can watch and I gotta tell ya, he has lost a lot of weight since then, he looks good now

It might be a good idea to keep an eye on Tommy’s channel today Joel.. Tommy moved premiere to Thursday 12 CET this week because it it’s his birthday ( only one I know that moves stuff to his birthday not from it) .. it’s going to be a special one and from all signs ( very spooky picture on instagram in events included) a spooky one fit for Halloween .. I will be in live chat wishing him a happy birthday that’s for sure 😉

🤔 Joey or Tommy, they have great voice's both. And Europe was a really favorite back in the day's. But I have to give it to Tommy and it's because Tommy play everything himself 💥 and he does it very good 🤘

I'm sensing a tone here with regards to your feelings about Europe. It may surprise you (or your podcast guests *hint hint) that Europe has continued to put out very strong material on 6 albums since the mid 2000s. May I suggest reactions to "Last Look At Eden" "War of Kings" or "Walk the Earth "
