Since you mentioned how much you love decorating with red, white, and blue, i wanted to mention that an awesome cake i try to make every july 4th uses blueberries for the blue part of the American flag, sliced strawberries for the red stripes and cool whip or whipped cream for the white stripes. I usually make a pretzel crust with chocolate cake. it's super yummy and festive! you woould probably make it look more perfect than i can. lol

Great trip! Dolar General has an app and if it is set for the store you are at, ut has a scanning feature to check prices or to see if there sre coupons to go with ypur items. Super helpful.
