      Thank you very much Sir, glad that you found the review useful. Both the keyboards are a good choice, the blue one was with us for over a year and is doing well. The keycaps are removable but the switches are soldered to the board. There is a latest firmware update to the keyboard which lets you customize the light colors, you can find it on the manufacturer's website. Thanks again and have a great day.

      Sir, thank you for the appreciation. We thought of comparing them since we had both the keyboards at our disposal. This was our 2nd review on the channel, we improved on the audio quality in the later videos. For typing, etc use blue mechanical switches, or if you want a clicky experience use blue mechanical switches. If you want to game, and want it to be quiet then go for red mechanical switches.

    Should I buy redgear shadow blade or go for cosmic byte cb gk 16....I want best durability and less wobble in keys...and bright lighting effect in keys.....suggest please...

    • @ArjunAndVishnu
      @ArjunAndVishnu  Před rokem

      Hello, except for the fast that they are mechanical, both keyboards belong to different classes. Here are the differences:
      > Shadow blade is a full sized keyboard with 104 keys. GK 16 is a TKL keyboard with no number pad. Personally, I like TKL since I do not use the number pad at all.
      > TKL keyboard is more centered for the user and there is more space for the mouse. The whole setup feels compact.
      > I have not used a Shadow blade but I suppose it can do single color lighting too. The backlight on GK 16 is bright enough.
      > Shadow blade has a volume control know which I suppose is really useful.
      > Switches of the Shadow blade are a tad old model, you can see in the picture that they just have the + at the top of the switch. Gk 16 switches come with a + and plastic frame around the border. This provides more stability over a period of time since the + mount will erode, particularly while gaming. You can replace the switch, but switches on both models are soldered down and are not pull-out swappable.
      I have used Redgear products earlier, but not their keyboards. The products are of good quality. Your choice should depend on what you want to use the keyboard for. I suggest you try out keyboards with different switches before you buy. If it is for gaming, you may like the Red Switch. If it is for coding, you will like the blue switch. After the tryout, you can definitely make a better choice. Thanks.

    • @ArjunAndVishnu
      @ArjunAndVishnu  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you Sir, we will see if we can get our hands on a CB-GK-13 for review. But, we are not looking to own one. We realized we were not using the NUM PAD at all, and getting rid of it from the keyboard saves valuable desk space. Again we are not fans of the 60% form factor since the arrow keys are crammed in. Brown switches in TKL form factor would be worth looking at, but surprisingly, none of the budget keyboards are made like that. Thanks again and have a great day.

    • @ArjunAndVishnu
      @ArjunAndVishnu  Před rokem

      Blue switch (CB-GK-16) if you like the tactile feedback and the clicking sound.
      Red switch (CB-GK-18) if you want it to be noise free. You will not have the feedback but you will not disturb anyone when you game late night. If you stream your games and do running commentary, this is the model to go for (viewers will not get annoyed with your keyboard sound).

    Which one should I go for blue ones or the red ones ?

    • @ArjunAndVishnu
      @ArjunAndVishnu  Před 2 lety +1

      Sir/Madam, my personal favorite is the Red Switch because it is silent, very smooth and it needs very less actuation force (45g). Those who like tactile feedback and clicky sound go for the blue switch, actuation force (50g). We recommend that you try both in a demo to find the suitable one for you.
