Thank you for speaking out about human rights that’re being stampeded, for trans people, for black people, for Palestinians, for all citizens under the government.
I'm so sorry that you lost your Dad at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with you.❤ I'm 60, and The Final Cut was released soon after my grandfather, who I was incredibly close to, had passed away. I was only 21 at the time, and, like you, far too young to have lose the most important man in my life. The album reminds me of him, and it came out when I most needed to hear it. And I have listened to it regularly for the last 40 years.

Yep, I was on the same bus as you...A big fan of Pink Floyd and thought Roger Waters was politically cool and a peaceful man but did he ever apologise for the British army creating the state of Israel and then running away leaving a mess behind them in 1948? I still love Floyd but if Roger's dad wasn't killed during the war there would probably be no Pink Floyd and Roger could of been shooting Catholics in northern Ireland in the 1960s.

Thanks for turning me on to Scott Ritter, he is one of the few people talking about what is going on in Israel and making sense at the same time. I almost understand why it is hard to speak the truth about what Israel is doing, almost but not quite. Please keep doing what you are doing. I hope you write some new lyrics on the issues you find important now and make a concept album about it. You really don't have to do it all yourself. Should you take on this task, please find young, good musicians and singers to make your words come alive. There are very good musicians and singers out there that cannot find a break. It would be wonderful if you could take a stand for musicians who can play, write, sing and producers who can produce, otherwise the world will be filled with techno, autotune, and God forbid, music made by AI. I know it is a lot to ask, but I would love to hear that album. You could do your bit to save music. I know it's a bold ask, but maybe you could move the needle of music back just a tiny little bit. I would do anything I could to help rid this world of war and massive amounts of daily sufferings.. some fear it's too far gone to make right again.. but I don't, I think people, mainly civilians are just too uneducated on the idea of no war. I would go lengths unheard of to rid the world of war.. but I don't know what those lengths are honestly, as a civilian.
