As a consumer I love seeing any company providing the "Family" farm with equipment that makes their operation more efficient and profitable. We NEED the family farmer! I hope they always get what they need to keep them competitive with the conglomerates. Companies like John Deer always seem to be on the leading edge of doing this very well. Keep up the good work, and thank you for listening to what these hard working people tell you about what they need to stay in business. As if that isn't enough, you are going the extra mile to make the work bearable by improving the ergonomics of your equipment. I spent a decade working with the little 3 series tractors when they were leading edge with seats that absorbed the shock to the operator. We thought we had the best that anyone could expect with air cushion seats. After hearing just a bit about the new creature comforts you have incorporated in the new designs, I hope every customer can afford this comfort package. Twelve hours is a long time to withstand the beating that a field can put on your body without such things. I'm sure these guys love it now, and I KNOW they will count their blessing when they reach my age and their body is still sound and strong. It does make a HUGE long term difference.
Keep up the good work and always keep the family farmer in mind. You are salt of the earth, and as American as Baseball and Apple Pie!

What a great video, ive been on deeres since before i could walk.. then i moved to the john deere marine diesel engies, but still worked with 410 backhoe and jd tractors!! Love john deere and their company!!!

That dazzle camo makes it more conspicuous vs just leaving it green. Farmers are a nosy bunch and that's giving everyone of them out road farming a reason to take an longer look at it.
I know the technology is fantastic but the pricing is getting almost of reach that the return on investment is getting smaller and smaller.
Walsh Farms in our country, the prices are getting insane. We run a big contracting firm, we have 15-20 tractors. Literally bought one 2 days ago, a 130 horse MF, almost 100 000 dollar.

Let me try it on my 40ft strip tiller that’s mounted with assist wheels & a 1910 430 cart behind it. 8400R says its FAT & Heavy. Like to see if it turns better on headlands.

I think they should simplify the trackssystem as they contain many bolts and nuts which must be checked frequently .. Anyway the thrust performance is much better than the conventional with tires.

I am a fan of John deere i work on a farm but we have a 6420 jd and the left hand reverser we out it in foward and it bumps back into netural what would cause that and the year i dont know it is before 2011

in my opinion ... best looking Tractor from all the Tractors in the world ... well what do you expect when a German car manufacture (BMW) is heavily involved in the design of the new 2020 John Deere 7R 8R 8RX ... it can only be awesome ... I love the edgy design ... oh and I hope this new design will find it's way into the new Combines and Forage Harvesters ... in all their machinery ...
Send a few to the sugar beet fields of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota to see if they will get stuck up to their door handles in mud. Its a fricking nightmare trying to get the crop off!

When will the new 6r come out
Here’s a question I have about the built in receiver. My farm runs green star but the farm that helps us some runs Trimble so how would it affect someone that wants to move their old Trimble system over since everything else they run is using Trimble.
Thanks for your question, Chase. The overall impact is very minimal and you should not see any changes when incorporating competitive systems. The only real difference is in the location of the integrated receiver compared to today. We hope this helps!

If the electricity comes from the electric grid, is there enough power out in the country to charge all the tractors in the narrow planting or harvesting time period? Most power generation takes place near cities where the transmission grid and lines can handle more power than out in the country
The non-JD brand sensor-ship is strong with this video... almost distracting

Rob- Those are "cons" ... That ad only presented "pros" . Don't get me wrong we farm and own 9 JDs of various sizes ... Just that for tractors costing 500K to 750K ( canadian for me ) ... The cons are kind of a major one to avoid sharing . Pulling carts with a 750K $$$$ implement ... I do not know Capt'n ... I do not know . Later Rob and ... Most of our 50 and 30 series are passed 6000Hrs already and running like Deeres :) From Canada ... Happy new year to you .
