People have no true idea what he's gone & is still going through. The struggle to walk again, issues with memory & impulse control. I am SO PROUD of what he's done but even moreso of his family who kept him safe during his recovery. Truly heartwarming!

It is strongly speculated and rumored within Hollywood that Fox spent his time mostly in a 6 month inpatient substance abuse treatment facility after "complications" arose during his last film.
If so, he very well "could have" also originally had a TAI a.k.a. minor stroke or even suffered an actual OD (especially if the drug contained fentynol). Which may have lead to the initial emergency hospitalization. During Fox's speech he alluded to this in very subtle ways.
This is certainly his personal business if true. I'm sure at some point he will be addressing those rumors. All his family, friends & fans can do is be greatful and hope that his road to "recovery" continues.
