I'm gonna have to disagree with #2 (Have your own place). Stay at home with your parents as long as they'll allow you. Don't be a burden, but saving on rent in those early years can put you in a great financial position for your late 20's. If your only goal is being more attractive to women, well then sure, move out.. But that's a very short-term perspective, and I'd highly suggest focussing on your financial situation before relationships early on.
At your home only ..U should own a seperate room
this keeps u in your comfort zone though. imagine instead of trying to save money living with your parents, instead you move out and focus that energy on how to increase your income. back against the wall sometimes we perform the best.
@@CutTheKam I guess it really depends on the person. If you feel like you need that extra push to pursue your goals, by all means, move out. But if you can stay motivated and driven without that full independence, staying home can give you a big leg up early on in life.
What you can also do if you’re not looking to pay rent, you can find a house, put a reasonable down payment, and house hack. Rent out the rooms to other people and that’ll take care of your home mortgage . Another thing; most likely the equity of your home will increase which will allow you to refinance OR sell the house for more that what you got it. Either way you’ll have your own place and you’re controlling a piece of real estate in your early 20s!
Jose clearly said its not necessary!
As someone who is in their early-mid 20s (I’m 25 in November) all these goals listed are only obtainable to the wealthy/ brought up in rich, stable families.
Currently I have a job and am a starting side hustle in streaming and own a credit card so I’m doing ok but owning an apartment/ doing everything else listed will only put unnecessary pressure on yourself; especially if you come from a poorer family or are currently being badly affected by the ongoing pandemic.
He said by 22 being independent, i can’t say i fully agree with you, i think if you want it bad enough and work hard enough then you should be able to no matter how “rich” ur family is. Like i can understand that life can be harder when growing up poor but to just flat out say it’s not obtainable is a bit of a stretch and begins to sound like an excuse… I have had a job since i was 17 years old and am 22 now and am moved out and didn’t use any family money to move out either.
also being in developed country helps
Your family background doesn't matter
Jose is a living proof
@@Tylerzsg it’s not just about your family being wealthy. We all have different circumstances, some more severe than others. Some people even have to take care of their families from the moment they’re 18. No amount of “wanting it bad enough” can change all circumstances people are faced with.
However, nothing wrong with trying to be independent by 22. I just turned 23, final year of dental school, about to move out of the house in a few weeks. My family is far from wealthy however, I have had great role models, two successful older siblings to look up to and all the emotional support I could’ve ever asked for. Not everyone has that.
@@Tylerzsg It's not necessarily even a good idea to move out in your early 20's.. You can save up at a much faster pace if you just suck it up and stay home. Sure it's not going to help you out with women, but you're going to be in a much better financial situation if you aren't paying rent during those early years of your career.
Having your own place by 20 is extremely unrealistic for the majority. I'm from England and house prices are insane and only going up. 25-30 is a lot more realistic with the current market.
He mentioned apartments as well.
@@evanjarvis7261 Sadly even apartments aren't cheap, at least not here
@@Nickkkkkkk344 move to the USA! My rent is about £300
Well yeah.. I live at home bc my university is pretty close.. but hoping to move out soon🙄🙄
@@evanjarvis7261 and what will I do in the U.S? I will be a complete stranger without any jobs

thank you so much for the writing of the summary .
Imagine being rich enough to be able to drop 1000+ a month on rent along with paying for college when you’re 20 years old completely independently. This has actually never happened before.
either gotta be rich, have taken and passed hella APs (even then youd have to work part time), have money saved from high school, or have done some investments that went rlly well, oh or you could be a drug dealer
Stay at the top of your class and you can go to your state’s best public school honors college for free or very cheap. 1k a month rent covers utilities so you would only have to make about 20k a year realistically
Go to community college stack up during those 2 years then transfer
I didn’t become financially independent until I was 26-27. I graduated college when I was 25 and bought my first home at 26, and that’s when I moved out of my parents’ house.
You're ahead of the game
I lived in my own apartment for 2 years but recently moved back in with my parents and I’m 22. I wasted almost 10k on rent when I could I’ve saved that money for the future. Long story short…live with your parents until you have a great job!
What country do you live in? And how much a year were you earning in your job?
Everyone's talking about high expectations (owning a home at 20 is very high) but I think the mindset is what he's emphasizing here.
facts👏, Idk if this the same fan base anymore everybody seem really weak minded this week.
This mans ego is 🚀 fr
@@TroyIndureTillTheEnd they come for fashion advice but don't like when he challenges them to level up. But I get it everyone's lives are different and it's hard. I'm not pretending to have answers, that's just my theory.
@@goodmcmorning5169 Like I said I think he's just emphasizing the grind to get better mindset. Wether it's financially better or emotionally/mentally. That's just a theory.
He's explicitly saying 'own a home by age 20', which is just absurd. Sure we can infer he's talking about being motivated and having goals. But that's not what he is saying in the video.
I'm 19, good thing Jose posted this at time, I have been waiting for his new video today since 7:00 more than my online class
Just turned 22 and I remember thinking about owning a house by 21. Becoming comfortable in life is too easy, it just lets life run right past you. This video was just the kick I needed to realise where I am and where I could be. Thanks Jose! 🙏🏽
this one hit hard... things that probably I already know I should be doing but this vid reminded me that we need to make all we can do to achieve this goals, I'm 4 years pass this goals but for more reason to try even harder. Let's go!
Don’t reflect on the past bro. Lock in now. You’re still extremely young. We’re playing the long game💪🏼blessings to you my guy
Why are you looking to a cringe alpha/sigma male for validation? Walk on your own path and timeline.
I like the way jose brings back clips from old videos🥺🌞
I swear I’ve been thinking about what I need in life the past week and boom Jose posts a video on it. Great content keep it up🙌
Owning your own place by 20 is pretty unrealistic for most people unless you have help from your parents or someone. This is just like the old "move out by 18" that kept being told to us. Imagine doing that today. Not everyone is able to achieve the same kind of success this guy has. This guy seems to me so wrapped up in his own world that he seems to have forgotten what it's like to be average. Live your life the best you can while also striving to improve yourself that's all there is. Forget this "7,8,9,10 things you must do/have because I said so" bullshit.
when people listen to him and do it it creates anxiety and it can cripple them mentaly
I love the way you do your ads man!
Fire content as always.
Even when I feel down watching one of tms's videos motivates me
Niceeeee, the smooth transition into ad, that's what I like
Love the way how Jose chills in videos
This is very valuable advice. Thank you.
This guy thinks we’re all like him but he doesn’t understand the fact that we all don’t have rich families and some of us need to provide for our family at a young age. You can’t just set standards at “20 years old” putting on unnecessary pressure on them. As long as they’re trying to improve that’s all that matters
no jose is from a poor family
Jose didn’t have a rich family. He was born dead broke. He worked his ass off for what he has
@@AuthenticWithIsaiah I doubt he was dirt poor. His parents were probably making $30-45k a year.
@@limeflavoredbleach5570 no I don’t think so. Jose said in his podcast that his parents were dirt broke and he grew up very poor.
I've been watching him over 5years

Respect that

your videos hepled me so much in life.
thank you for those mega high quality videos 🍀
Thanks to you for guiding us men😌
Let me share that when I graduated college I was really desperate for a job and I wasn’t finding anything. As a result I was less than smart and got caught up in a side hustle that turned out to be a scam. It took me some time to pay off my debts but eventually I did. I found some part time gigs until I knew for sure what I wanted to do. I eventually did, made a plan and since then for the most part everything has gone pretty well and I am now comfortable financially. I also happen to be living at home while I was figuring things out, still finding ways to contribute and not mooch. It’s okay if you don’t have success right away, just keep at, have a plan and make adjustments when necessary. Id you stick to it, you’ll get to where you want to be.
About to search for this and he droped it.... Man he cares for us...our elder brother🖤🖤
I watch these videos get all amped up and feel like I’m leveling up my game oh and then he hits you with a sales pitch Jose you are the best salesman I’ve seen better than the shred villain from six packs abs I know this because I buy you’re merch It’s expensive but in the end this is all high-quality stuff I feel like it was worth the price
Jose I admire the effort u put in for young brothers out here to look confident, but telling someone to own their place by 20 puts a lot of pressure on teenagers to get there and hence they might do bad stuff out of desperation
You're so amazing man jose keep going pro 👏
He is the man with the plan, the host with the most, your big brother Jose

Thank you for the tips bro. :D
Thanks big brother 👍
Lmao he said "by 20" come on now Jose. Be realistic by 20 youre either in college or just starting a job not a career. Honestly its alot more than that . Dont have these young guns out here stressing. Having self care/awareness, building confidence, develop good money habits, and learning how to be independent, there's 4 right there, are good starters for 20 year olds . I dont know how much of an minority you are (no shade), but did you have access or knowledge to those things at 20? Take a break sometime youre over saturating which in turn has you running out of things to talk about. Are you going towards a certain demographic? #Berealistic #NoWayJose
It needs to be more like 24 or 25
Now this was a really good vid
I love this guy, self care is very important

Working on my confidence by reading books and talking to people. Some people are also not that confident and I understand that.
I'm 24 but cant afford my own place. Due of COVID, a lot of business are struggling.
had experience living by myself at the age of 19 but right now I think I need to stay here specially when my parents house is on mortgage.
To people who feel shame for not completing all of these. It's ok. Most of us are not born rich. I known people who lives by themselves in a nice apartment but their parent pays everything. LOL.
love u bro thnx
Currently in the army since the age of 18, Being in you get a paycheck twice a month as long as You stay in and it’s all based on rank. If you stay in 20 years I get a pension. This gives a “home” in a way, although it’s a barracks you can personalize it in a way to keep as clean as possible- plus when you get to the time you find a spouse, you could receive extra pay to have your own home. I personally pay for my own food, but in technicality they pay for 3 meals a day at the dining facility on post. Personally I’ve been able to make some “big boy” purchases like paying for a car. From my understanding, the military (or at least the army) has a system called the TSP that basically does what he is saying by taking a solid $25 out to put into an investment plan. So personally I like the goals he brings to the table, not sure what he thinks of this- but I think it’s not a bad gig by going military (just know you may have to embrace some suck, risk your life for the country, and stay physically and mentally in shape)
Early in the morning 🥳😎
1:15 that hit deep 😂 im 25 and got nothing going for myself. need to sort my shit out
