- In 1933, there were concentration camps for Jews and footage of them available. But why would the Nazis present their terrible deeds to the public?
It´s summer 1933 when a Nazi film crew documents the early days of the concentration camp for Jews in Oranienburg, near Berlin. The concentration camp footage is intended to give insight into the daily life of Jews in a concentration camp.
In 1933, most of the prisoners in the concentration camps for Jews belonged to the political opposition: Communists and Social Democrats. Among the prisoners in the Oranienburg concentration camp were not only Jews, but also the Social Democrat Gerhart Seger. In 1934, he was spoke about the truth in the Oranienburg concentration camp for Jews. In December 1933, after nine months of imprisonment, Seger managed to escape from the concentration camp.

I love these series and I'm very glad they've been uploaded here.
But why does every image that is potentially disturbing have to be blurred out?? I've seen it on other documentaries on CZcams also. We're not children, that's why you have to sign in to see certain things. People need to see uncomfortable things. I'm very against this heightened level of censorship I've seen in the past few years. Censor out any potentially offensive words, any potentially offensive images. It might "trigger" or "offend" someone. Guess what? Sometimes we need to be disturbed, triggered, and offended. That's how we learn about the real world, and how to not repeat certain periods in our history...
Yes, CZcams can demonetise or even remove anything the algorithm deems too disturbing, offensive or triggering.
Or it's due to fear of finding any evidence of irrefutable tampering of what was shown

I still don't get how so many don't see a modern mirroring in rising popular attitudes in the world. A few developed countries have already been gripped by authoritarians and more are close. We get just separated in time enough to forget and repeat.
