Inside a 1MW Solar powered Crypto Mining Farm!!

In this video I show you a quick tour of the inside of the crypto mining hosting facility all powered by solar power. Its taken a while to set up properly but a solar powered crypto farming space with lots of massive concrete walled units and huge renewable power is ideal. This farm is mostly for gpu mining ethereum but there is also a sneak peak of some fresh of the boat, antminer L7s mining doge and lite coin with solar power also.

It's around 1000 solar panels and a few medium wind turbines, but this is about 150 solar panels worth of power for these machines

They have some serious wind and solar going on to power all that, and still have enogh to export back to the grid. Have they got and local power storage or just use the grid for the down peaks in power?

No batteries at this farm yet, all the renewables went in here when the tariffs where good years ago before grid scales batteries where thing 🤣

Been watching you for a couple of years now … wish I knew what all this is 🤷🏼‍♀️ we are old school pig farmers no solar power or wind turbines here !! Just want to be more economical but don’t know where to start ??

Thanks for watching 😁 Basically the computers verify transactions and you get a piece of the transaction fee for the use of your computer to do so👌If your mains connection is decent or not to far to upgrade theres all sorts of companies that will pay to put in solar and pay for renting the land and provide free farm power. But I'd start with reducing farm inputs as much as poss with how feed and fertiliser prices are going! The pig unit over the river from me just about grow all there own food amd straw for the pigs. Wish I had the land do so for my chickens as I'm not ordering more laying hens till the price of eggs goes up as I dont see feed coming down much 🤣🤣

Next to nothing, the whole farm uses about 10mgb of data a day
