    Guest artists Matthew Morrison and Laura Michelle Kelly, with the Orchestra at Temple Square, perform "People Will Say We're in Love," from Oklahoma, by Rogers and Hammerstein.
    Special guest artists Matthew Morrison, Laura Michelle Kelly, and Oscar "Andy" Hammerstein III join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square in their annual concert “Music for a Summer Evening,” held in conjunction with community-wide Pioneer Day celebrations. The concert was held on Friday and Saturday, July 20 and 21 at 8 p.m. in the Conference Center and was conducted by Mack Wilberg, music director of the Choir and Ryan Murphy, associate music director.

    laura michelle kelly has so much stage presence. i simply can not keep my eyes off her when she's performing, such charm and grace :)

    I imagine the chorus is encouraged to remain stone faced so as not to be a distraction, but I actually like it when I see smiles from them in response to Laura and Matthew's performance.

    As good as Matthew and Laura were, one must watch the performance by Julian Ovenden and Sierra Boggess. It was astonishingly good!

    I think she's fantastic and he's good. But on all fairness, once you listen to Alfred Drake and/or Gordon Mccrae sing from Oklahoma nobody else will do.

      @@reedhepler1698 It's just not a good part for his voice. Curly sounds best when sung by a baritone with a warmer tone. Matthew just has too bright of a tone and it doesn't have an operatic quality to it. He's very talented but its just kinda low for him whereas this song would sit in the sweet spot of a baritone's voice

      "HE GOT UP THERE"....BECAUSE HE IS A VERY TALENTED ARTIST WITH A DELIGHTFU VOICE WITH A VASTE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO RECOGNISE THIS.......!!!
