I bought a 72 Mark IV probably around 1999 -2000ish. It was a beautiful gold color, I don't remember the name of that finish. If I remember right it had around 10,000 miles, a literal barn find as it had been in a barn for decades. When it arrived we rolled it in and of course drained the oil, the radiator was fine if I remember right but we flushed everything out and replaced a lot of rubber under the hood, tires, etc. Put a new battery in, and fired it right up. We probably put shocks on it too but I really don't remember. I kept it factory original except for an Edelbrock performance manifold and a giant four barrel carburetor, and dual exhaust. Finally, a completely hidden Kick-Ass sound system. And that was about the only changes I made. With the dual exhaust and the Edelbrock carburetor and manifold, the car was a rocket -- one very fast car! People would ask me what kind of mileage it gets, and I would tell them that it burns a little less fuel than the space shuttle on launch!
Thanks for showing us around this fabulous car, what an absolute work of art, love these and remember detective Frank Cannon the TV show cop driving around in his Lincoln all those years ago and fell in love with these then!
I’m enjoying the Lincoln mark four and Ford Thunderbird even though it’s not mentioned both cars are similar but different parts from 1972-76 and it looks great
Mmmaaaaannn that's about as clean as you could ask for! But what else would you expect from Danny and the boys at Counts Customs? If I was looking for a show piece I never drove I'd be all over it but I can't bring myself to own a car I'm afraid to drive. That car belongs in a museum or an indoor climate controlled collection and maybe driven a hundred or two miles a year.

Love everything about that Mark IV except the fur. That could be a deal breaker for me.
Drive it right home & tear it out! 🤣
I agree the fur is tacky But the car is awesome 😎👍❤

Wow that Mark IV sounds amazing and I bet is a absolute joy to drive. I, too have a 72 but it's in the process of getting a reman carb and tune up.
i love the Mark lll over all others.. Sell it to me??
This is a Mark IV....1972. The best and only year for the bumper-less IV and before emissions killed the 460@P71ScrewHead
@@Chitwn81 Oh yes, i agree, i like them too but the Mark 3 is my all time favorite bcuz of the rear lights, but yes, the 72 is a good option too..
I can't afford that but man a sweet ride.👍🏽🏁🏁🏁

Is the best view of the alligator top
Maravilha 💕 parabéns
No fur.
I would love to see a 1972 Mark IV with no vinyl roof. I think the lines would be amazing same as the Mark III w/o a vinyl roof.
One of My Dream Car's but the Fur gotta go😢❤
What's the price? Also love the cars.
