I want to see one get flipped around and crash through a window of a skyscraper, land inside someone's office and say "I'm Batman!"

One guy had to jump out of his parachute over 150 ft in the air, he was pretty messed up, and another basically just hit the ground without his parachute going off. They both survived, but only by some miracle. I don’t know if that’s what you mean by serious injury, but I’d say they were pretty serious

There is a very simple method to help such thoughts; every time you want to do something like that, ask yourself how high the chances of you going to bed are in comparison to not doing it and then decide that dying for 10 seconds of thrill if something goes wrong are not good odds. Or you know, just don’t be stupid ;)

Plenty of paragliders have died just on launch...not as many as base jumpers...but still. Base is crazy. In the skydive world we have women who are 80 years old who are still skydiving on their own since the 1950's. One older lady I know has over twenty thousand jumps and still going strong never even twisted an ankle.
I participate in both sports and still haven't made my mind up which one is more dangerous. At any rate they're both amazing sports and with respect/discipline/training can be done with a reasonable level of safety.

But the second parachute needs 300meters to open and thats why they dont have one in BaseJumping. So is it true to say that every 2000 jump you could die? I am not sure if its true.
@@linklink999999 base canopies are more reliable than skydiving canopies. We also take more care in packing because we only have one. Plenty of base jumpers with over 2000 jumps.
