genshin's collaborations with famous brands are always exciting, and now that they've collaborated with a museum, I really hope this outfit becomes Zhongli's new skin
I mean i can see it not the og outfit but a recreated by the people of liyue (perhaps chiori) to recreated morax(zhongli) achievement and ofc Zhongli will be choose to be morax actor and BOOM Zhongli archon war outfit

Hello Doro, I'm glad you have an interest in history and museum. Hopefully someday you can read this comment.
What's amazing in that was video was Mihoyo's attempt to 'link' early civilization in China to early Liyue - the dress, the culture, the way of life.
You can also dig 'early civilization' art of Inazuman and find that Mihoyo also reference early civilization of Japan, which is quite distinct to 'modern' Inazuma. And yes ofc Seirai island which is based from Ainu culture. The art team is truly amazing at their research and reproduction. But hey, this is just my little understanding, it would be fun if you find out and research them yourself 😉
I kinda wondered why they don't do more skins. I'm so happy with the animation, though and it was really fun to see a museum collab, and it fits Zhongli so well. I loved the in-game statue.
For those who might be curious, these artifacts are made of bronze, many of them were ancient sacrificial instruments. The ruins of Sanxingdui civilization were discovered in China. It's about 3,000 to 5,000 years old, and it's still a mystery, just like the Maya civilization. Zhongli is so suitable for this collab.
The Zhongli statue we got was awesome, need staues like that for all the Archons.

Y'know whats crazy, This is an animation they would do for like an event or archon quest, but here they made it just for a collab with a Mueseum. The amount of attention, detail and work Hoyo puts for collabs like this is so cool. And like, after watching it I kind awant to go to this mseum, so they did their job perfectly!
Yet they couldn't put the same attention to their player's requests 😂
They gave us zhongli archon statue for teapot sjhbddnjxsbsshshjs. He looks soo good
idc i'd pay for zhongli's archon outfit or the one in the thumbnail as a 5 star skin he looks even more majestic
I actually really love historical stuff like this, its a glimpse into how the cultures of today developed to what we have now. As for archon outfits? I get feeling they are waiting for Snezhnaya or story reasons or both, who knows. 😊🤔

I may need to break my Genshin hiatus if Daddy Zhongli gets a new skin! I haven't kept up with the news. Will there be a museum event a la HSR or the museum a place to go?
Okay so heres my thoughts on if we will get a skin or not.
in order for a character skin to be available the skin has to be tied to a event. Like the previous skins we got all of them were tied to a event.
So if we were to get a skin for zhongli it would also have to be tied to a event which would require him zhongli to reveal his identity as the geo archon and the only time when zhongli and maybe venti reveal their true identity is when and even if all archons fight against the heavens near the games end
i've now switched to the Fontaine realm in my teapot and the only furnishing in it is the Morax statue
