You are inspiring more and more to maximize using my card benefits. I have both the gold and platinum cards.
Used my $10 today at Cheesecake Factory to get a Mango Lime Cheesecake! Tommorow I will use the Uber Eats $10 credit to get Buffalo Wild Wings(pick up) buy 1 get 1 traditional wings Tuesdays. That Cheesecake Factory Tip about the $10 giftcard is fantastic. I was getting tired of the cheesecake.
My thoughts exactly…I would constantly get a cheesecake since it was a quick and easy treat and I don’t eat there often. Have also used Uber Eats for BWW pickup. 😂

As a team travel guy, the Amex Gold is a no brainer card and one that may never leave my wallet. I've got a ton of value from the Amex Offers this past year as well. The food credits are kinda annoying but it's something I'm willing to deal with. Get this card ASAP if you haven't already

Wow! I do happen to live 2 blocks from a Cheesecake Factory, but I almost never eat there, unless I have family visiting. Great idea to get the gift cards!!

Just got the gold card I qualified for the platinum but honestly I don’t travel that much so gold was a bit of a better option due to being better for dining and supermarkets
I'm currently a Delta Skymiles Gold member (2X for supermarkets and restaurants) - Definitely getting this card over the next year if I can get a great introductory offer.

Also a great reward if you work for a corporation and they offer a green card you can get a discount of $100 for gold cards if you have a corporate card! Making the overall fee $150.
Brian, what are your thoughts on the World Elite Mastercard that Capital One keeps upgrading everyone to? My wife had it happen to an old Walmart CP1 she got when she was focused on rebuilding and on face value it seems to have a lot of the same benefits as my AMEX Gold. Would love to see a video from you going into this.

Amex is a little bit better in my opinion. I have both cards and Amex just seems easier to use.
For the hotel collection, is there a max number of time you can use the $100 credit? like is that once a year? or multiple times? what happens if you book two rooms, is that $200 credit then?
The $100 credit is only once per year. You a required a two night minimum stay to get the credit, and you would only receive $100, not $200. Hope this helps!

It’s 300 dollars 😑, if you have a gold card your probably spending more than that monthly. I don’t understand why your watching these videos if you cant pay the fee.
Only get a card if it makes sense for your spending habits! For me the gold card has been my favorite daily driver and it’s still a keeper card for me. If you can’t justify the annual fee and have a hard time using the credits there are still a ton of great other choices too
