I’ve always had the idea to swap the crook from a normal bach slide and an LT slide, to give the brass slide an authentic Bach nickel crook. Then you would have to change the lead pipes because I don’t like the standard bach leadpipe. I guess at that point you might as well get a Shires or Edward slide!!!
Looks like an old Conn crook to me seen a lot of those her in uk I am a repair tech. If it as mine I’d keep the bell and tuning slide and make the M&W screw fitting to try it on those lovely rotors?

I had the M&W built just to avoid that! Thanks for the info on the crook, I think you may be right. '50s 88H maybe?
I think you should give it to me
Hey aidan, 2 questions 1. What hand brace is on the horn and 2. How would i go about buying those shires axials?
Get-A-Grip on the New York, and hit up my lesson link if you're interested!
How many trombones do you own?
Oh no... Don't make me check. Let's see! Wow, I'm at 19. Time to cut back a bit...
Why not have that bell fitted to your m and w?
I had the m&w built soldered just so I wouldn't do exactly that haha
