    Wish I could give more than 1 like to this video 🙌
    Key points for me :
    1. Unlock the possibility of compounding the effects of different skills.
    2. Personal experiences and hobbies can also add up to create something which is very unique to yourself.
    3. Plato's cave - Facing a blank wall, prisoner's reality of shadows.
    4. Confidence is a byproduct of learning something new.
    5. Negotiation is an integral part of a designer's primary skill set.
    Hats off to you man 🎩 Keep creating n sharing please!

    Very informative! And Yes of course confidence begets confidence, No one wants to hand money to someone who behaves like they don’t deserve it, or has no idea what to do with it.
    Trust and be confident in your knowledge, skills and value which your work will bring and price as much as you want. Because we can always negotiate down from a price that was too high, but We can’t recover from a price that was too low.

    • @saptarshipr

    Well I often come to some points while working on something new. It feels like I must have known some of the visual design, parts of web design to actually showcase, some UI/UX/interaction design for look, feel and experience, some of cad areas as well and of course as you said motion designs. While learning I usually get lost in track of time.

But having said that, be empathetic to them as well. Try and get back within a 2-3 days maybe :)

    Sir i am a btech student and I really wanted to be a product designer.....But my family thinks its not the best option to chose m.des after b.tech.Bcz they only knows pursuing mtech mba and ms after btech.So that they prefer these option.But I really wanna chose design as my career.In your openion what about chosing m.des after btech EEE?? What about the job opportunities and salary packages?

    • @saptarshipr
      @saptarshipr  Před 3 lety +2

      Hey Sarthak.. It's natural for your family to think like that about design because it's a relatively new profession. Your parents may not have heard of many success stories of designers. Hence they are not yet convinced that it would be good for you. One main concern of Indian parents is that they feel that design may not pay them well. I suggest you show them my video where I have spoken about my financial growth over 6 years :)
