Last year they were in Lindau, South Germany and they were awesome.

Yeah, Sam and Mark met somewhere(I think and an aftershow kickback at a bar, but don't quote me on that) and discussed their certain metal interests. They realized that they both liked at lot of folk music and a lot of folk music-influenced rock bands like Iron Maiden, Amorphis, Nordman, etc. When Ensiferum lost Jukka-Pekka, 2 bassists were auditioned. In Mark's words, the 1st guy that was auditioned only knew how to play 1 Ensiferum song while Hinkka knew how to play everything.
still as epic as it was back then. Iron is on my phone / Mp3 Player since 2006 constantly and I do not intend to take it of.
