This guy literally taught himself how to design buildings, no formal education, self-taught....incredible
This is so great. I keep watching it. Ando is one of the few whose architecture is actually great art.

I sadly don't get the point he was making with this lecture. Can someone please help me?
Ando takes inspiration from great artists like Richard Long and Anselm Kiefer, but often nature is the greatest artist to be inspired by. My takeaway from the talk.

@@Ashley-ro4xz , additionally he emphasizes on not worrying that much about your age because at the end of your journey you'll realize that youth is a mindset rather than a goal or an early stage of life, which Mr. Ando discovered after he got ill. Another thing that stuck with me from the talk is the fact that knowing how to control light will impact the results of the projects you work on, wether it is architecture, art, design or photography.
