I remember my Moms death in 2010, I still grieve her lost moreover I did not know she had a heart attack and a stroke. before her death in 2008. Her death has made me aware how stressful events can destroy your life. As for me today I was having similar stressful events in my life; for my stressors were my family and job. I had high blood pressure, rapid breathing and my heart was getting enlarged. I knew after my hospitalization I had to take control of my life and stay away. Today I am better and I thank God and still miss seeing your smiling face.

Thanks for the video! It is mentioned that oral contraceptives increase the risk for hemorrhagic stroke. On the contrary, they predispose some women to thrombosis, which actually increases the risk of ischemic stroke. This is important when educating a patient about their oral birth control.

I suffered an ischemic stroke. A pea sized cyst swelled and pinched off an artery deep in my brain. This was in 1990, so it's been years. the cause is unknown

Interestingly enough the cause of your stroke was a pea sized cyst that swelled and pinched off blood flow so yeah the cause is known and you even said the cause. As is explained here, it could be caused by drug use, obesity, trauma (ever been dog pilled in football?), HTN, smoking, AF, PAD, high blood cholesterol.
