There's a 15" model (i7, 16gb ram, 256gb of storage and Radeon 450 pro graphics) for like 393 after tax on back market. Definitely the best overall package for the price you'd pay for a 15" laptop. Bought one today, pretty excited for it to show up. Touch bar will be great for scrubbing through lectures

Get a keyboard cover for your MBP as those butterfly switches in the keyboard can go bad.
@@Windows7Pro2009 Oh yeah, ive had a 2017 12" and a 2017 13" mbp, both had keyboard issues. Was awful
The one I bought from backmarket had keyboard issues right off the bat, screen delamination and after 2 weeks, got the flexgate issue. Basically every common problem present on the 2016 model. I only get one response from support a day, which has made the process of finding a solution really slow.
I don't recommend buying that laptop anymore

@@nehatomar967 I would avoid it, the experience I had with mine was awful. You likely won't experience them all at once, though over time, you'll start getting the problems I posted above - It's not really a matter of if, but more of a matter of when

I have been debating whether to buy one of these for a while now, only thing putting me off is the keyboard. Reliability and the feel of it when typing
yeah its definitely a really bad keyboard, but after a few days of typing on this thing, I quickly realized that it isnt that bad.
I just found one for 200 easy steal

I wish I watched this before I bought this 2nd hand. my screen had that bottom starlight kinda thing and no it's gone black. I bought an external adapter to connect to my desktop monitor to view it. not to mention gets super heated. learnt my lesson. get good buys with less risk than going for cheap buys with more risk.
Yeah sites like eBay or Facebook Marketplace may be cheap, but its definitely putting up a big risk. Someone can iCloud Lock a device after the payment is done, or items may not be as described as what they are. I hope you find a solution to this problem.

Hi! There are a lot of differences between the 2016 and the 2015 as the body of the 2016 model changed significantly. If you are talking about the technical differences, of course a newer generation (2016) is going to have better power efficiency, and hardware acceleration than the 2015 model. Sadly not. I have one and it's showing its age. Mind you it's not supported anymore. I'd recommend a Windows PC with a quad core processor.

Hey! Both are pretty good choices, but If you play games a lot, I would suggest the HP Pavilion, although the battery life on the MacBook is significantly better.

I found one for 200 with laminate issues and don't care one bit it's a steal
2017 is better. 15" model 2.8 ghz processor, 16gb ram, 512 gb storage for $380. Only 80 something charge cycles.

You got the macbook pro 2016 base model only 400 dolar, in my country Indonesia i buy the same macbook pro almost 600 dolar and the lcd have a problem like a lcd
Im sorry to hear that. Maybe you can go to the backmarket website and request a refund or a repair. If you bought the device within a year you contact them, problems including hardware are covered at no cost for the consumer. Hope you can get it fixed :C

You can barely do that on newer model macbooks (Not including M1). They aren't good for gaming unfortunately, they're meant for productivity and heavy work loads
You may want to buy a windows laptop instead.

There really is no difference between the Pro and the Air. I would buy the Air if you cant buy the Pro. The Air is compact and lighter, while the Pro has slightly better specs and a nicer body / frame.

@@AydanBakhish564 There is no 2016 MacBook Air. There’s 2017 Air that’s essentially the same thing as the 2015 model. Both of them are non-Retina and overall feel really cheap compared to the 2016/2017 Pros. Definitely get the Pro instead

Depends on What Coding but you should probably dual boot macOS and Windows for Coding on this machine.
