Nice video, beautiful board and great choice on the keycaps. But you used foam making it sound like any other keyboard with foam. That is not how you judge the sound of an expensive custom keyboard.
Plate foam mostly tames the switch sound. I didn’t use case or pcb foam, both of which would affect the keyboard sound. I chose not to use those to avoid changing the sound of the keyboard cases character.

Ill never understand this. You belong to a group of people that validates themselves off purchasing keyboards and switches. "people buy things all the time to validate themselves" - youre right, but they dont cope the entire time about. I have a hypothesis that "MOST" people in the "custom" keyboard scene discovered that they are mediocre at video games (they know this) - so subsequently in order to remain the in the "PC gaming space" (if you can even call it that) you all spend egregiously sickening amounts on plastic that is LITERALLY made in small quantities TO EXPLOIT people like this isnt buying them. All of this extra stuff for "typing"...uh huh, sure. You hit dimmishing returns after about 250 bucks. You people even invented a adjective "thocc" HAHAHAHA you people are CHASING sounds on a keyboard. Wild stuff. And dont comment back to me telling me "iTs FoR tYpInG" spare me, I can hit 90 wpm on a rubber dome keyboard and dont even consider myself a "typist".

This is essentially just like any other luxury hobby. Cars is a great comparison. They can be super over-designed and faster than you can even legally drive them, but, they’re still super awesome. However, you can make it by with a car that’s only $6k. Same concept here with keyboards
Wrong, and ill explain it. No matter how many times you sit at your desk and tell yourself you're about to type at 200 wpm, it will never happen. straight up, it just wont. That dude in that hyper car - HAS THE OPTION to hit 200mph. Over designed? No, the term "over design" would apply if you saw someone putting an aero kit on a forklift. These cars aren't overly designed....they are simply "designed". Legally? name one law ever put into place that stopped that same crime from ever happening again. ill wait. Don't akin yourself to someone who is into performance cars. I would say you guys are more like old ladies, that like buying tiffany lamps. dont worry though man, the magical "sounding" keyboard is right around the corner, im sure.@@thecaptainsterling
