Figure Note:
Stop-Motion Transformation of Transage Guangqi Trumpchi Empow J16 Yingbao. Pretty slick triple-changer. I love when a figure doesn’t turn into a humanoid - they are so rare. I know about putting the fenders further out in panther mode, but they actually seem designed to sit neatly as shown. To borrow from cats: “If it fits, it sits!”. Watch that little black square (that’s part of the rear window) If you find the stack of panels isn’t sitting completely flat back there, it’s probably because that little black square is getting in the way. It’s supposed to stick straight out as shown. I do separate those panels near the mirrors first going from car mode because it makes it much easier to separate the front fenders. This can however lead to a side mirror popping off. It’s all a bit of a clearance issue there. Excellent build quality - I encountered zero issues with anything breaking.

Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
Music: The music is by Ethan Meixsell - www.ethanmeixsell.com
Songs: “Rabid”, “Pride Before the Fall”, “Thor’s Hammer”, “Start Your Engines” and “Run”
Great transformation sequence, going straight from the Jaguar mode back to the car mose, so people can see that it can transform into that mode without going through the jet mode, but I would have liked to see the winged Jaguar mode too.
I decided to skip it because it's not that complex a change.
@@peolesdru Definitely Ravage from the Alternators line
If we have Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Rumble, and Frenzy turning into cars then i demand a Soundwave that steals Ultra Magnus' alt mode and turns into a car carrier.
Great Ravage triple changers from Cang Toy's, I think I'll save money to buy it.
Good Lord, how do these people CONCIEVE of things like this??
Pretty crazy.
That's what I wanna know. Whoever the artists are behind these I hope the third party company is showering them in cash. That's talent you don't want leaving the company.
Spectacular engineering on display.
two triple-changers back to back?? amazing time to be alive
They stack up like that at the end of the year. I've had him for about a month at this point.
Just ordered mine and have a feeling im going to come back to this video a lot
It's tricky. Pay close attention to the placement of the little square of rear windshield. It can get in the way if not situated properly.
@@peolesdruHello, I have a quick question about the figure. Do the car mirrors feel delicate in any way because worried they might snap off with them just hanging off the figure in the other two modes
@@carbful I don't recall being too concerned about them. I think one popped off once but it popped right back on.
@@peolesdru Oh they pop off, thank you very much. My La Hire and Peru Kill suffered from those and ruined the figures for me
@@peolesdruMine came missing the Mirrors ;-;
Ah damn... if I had procrastinated transforming this guy one more night, it would've been in time for your video. I was going from car to jet first time transforming him whilst already feeling kinda dizzy.
Will definitely come here if I struggle to go from car to jet again. Happy New Year!!!
Cool! Be sure to check the description for how I use my own videos.
Youve convinced me to buy more than i care to admit, but even you cant push me to pull the trigger on this one lol there are clusterfucks and then there are this clusterfuck
It all fits together quite well, but it is a challenge.
Got it and Jesus christ, pretty sure I'll need this video for every transformation
There are quite a few bits that are pretty particular. Pay attention to that little black square (that forms part of the rear window in car mode) I show how it goes, but it can easily flip up and it will interfere with the proper stacking of the car parts for the other two modes if it's not set as shown.
It's a literal Jet Jaguar!
I guess you could say that car is a *Jaguar*
I ordered mine, I’m prepared for any pain that comes with it cause I’ve seen some reviews and the reviewer saying that this figure is a pain in the ass
Everything has to seat just so. There is a little black flap (that fills in the top of the rear window) that if you get it aligned wrong will get in the way of the panels stacking at the back. I show it in the video. The main thing is everything has to be just so to fit properly. I show all the correct alignments in the video.
"Yingbao" or "银豹" is "silver leopard," which makes sense because that's Ravage.
Gorgeous alt mode.
Have you seen Unique Toys' upcoming Dino/Mirage figure? It looks IMMACULATE!
Yup! I always get UT figures.
@@peolesdru definitely gonna pick that one up. Have you seen AlienAttack's Knight Prime v2? It just came in stock on ShowZ. It looks pretty good, leagues better than their first attempt
@@Indie3444 I had it preordered but upon seeing a video, I decided not to bother with it.
@@peolesdru is it a nightmare like the Toyworld one or like El Cid?
It didn't look fun. I can't buy everything.
Was any of the transformation difficult? I preordered this months ago and i was worried. i am amazed by the engineering though :O
It took me three cycles before I worked out all the configurations. I've spent the last couple of weeks futzing with it to find some sort of "primordial mode" or the in-between mode.
@@peolesdru wow hopefully i can figure it a little faster lol great job btw
Well now you have my guide.
What is with these black magic third party figures lately. Shatter, Gustav, Cang Predaking, Dreamstar Superion. Now this. They've all been blowing my mind. Are the artists behind them known???
They tend to avoid the spotlight from what I've seen.
@@peolesdru That's unfortunate. A legacy left unknown.
Neat. I didn't know that this was out. Only gripe I have is that in jet mode, it kind of looks like a car hanging upside down in the front, but oh well.
I mean it's a triple changer toy, one can only go so far with engineering until you hit a limit, in this case, the jet mode undercarriage.
I think they handled it quite well, given the constraints. It's not a bad jet.
Didn't mean the design was bad, I still wanna get this.
When i first saw this fig revealed i automatically said
*Third party updatrd alternators binaltech ravage*
Very cool video peolesdru
Impresionante
What do you think of those late Beast Wars Mutants? They’re almost more like Animorphs than traditional Transformers.
Weird!
What's your setup? What program do you use?
I use DragonFrame to capture the photos and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit.
@@peolesdru thanks! I've done stop motion with my phone for a while but I've been meaning to give it a try with my DSLR
I went with a Canon 40D because they are cheap and because they have liveview.
I mean, impressive engineering for sure but just..... why? The cat/car/plane just doesnt make much sense to me, maybe because its not from a "setting" so to speak.
Ravage as a bayverse character.
I thought this figure was pointless until I found out it was based on Ravage... guess I am not a true transformers fan
It's a panther, but is it meant to be Ravage? I'm not sure.
I don't like it
