- Adrian breeds a variety of rare African Cichlids from Lake Tanganyika and Lake Malawi, L number plecos, and South American Cichlids in beautiful planted aquariums. Adrian has kept fish for over 45 years, and his experience in the hobby really shows. Not only are the fish and strains he has created incredible, but the aquascapes, display tanks, water change systems and filtration he uses are truly a sight to see!

Breeding beautiful fish is so rewarding when you can see them in friends aquariums and ponds looking so delightful.
I have seen many fish rooms, many great fish rooms, but I have to say, this is the best fish room I have ever seen. I mean, they are beautiful, healthy, and the dedication and time he has put on them is remarkable, it shows when you see them. He knows every detail in each and everyone of them. I watched this, and I the end I said, it's over already, I need more!!. Amazing video, we can and must learn a lot about his work. 😃

This just came through my yt feed and I have to say how amazed I was by Adrian's tanks. The set-ups are not over complicated yet the tanks are attractive and functional, well-lit for the terrestrial plants as well as the aquatic plants. The breadth of biotopes and variety of species being kept and spawned is exceptional. Adrian's filtration system is simple but highly effective and makes me wish I was more innovative with my setup, definitely gonna pinch that one! As a techno freak I would have appreciated more on the water quality side and the substrates but that's OK. I was especially impressed with his Betta bowl and bromeliads. FYI the Mexican livebearer was Xenotoca eiseni, I kept these many years ago as part of a conservation program but after a few generations they faded away, so I wish him well with his endeavors. Thanks for posting such a superb tour of an outstanding fish room.

Very nice video, I am astonished that an Australian fish lover does not keep Rainbowfish in his tanks. A good idea to use a very big garage and keep the cars outside when you have no winter temperatures :o)
For sure!! You make a good point, I think he did have some rainbow fish previously but not right now
It's not easy finding rainbow fish. They are expensive in Australia as with many fish.

Amazing fish room. A garden of fish. Beautiful. The cypridochromus remind me of rainbows. Did you ever raise gobies or rainbows? Maybe for conservation. Wow the congo tank is especially awesome with the electric elephant nose and kribs !!, love the other cichlids. Thanks for sharing
