I actually don't think it's a disgrace. I think it's the level man utd are at. Just to be able to compete with city at the moment is the max utd can do. they are no where near the quality city are and to come away with a 2-1 is a good result for utd. Next season with hopefully new owners and the right signing man utd should go from just competing to riveling city, A win should be expected and not just hopeful.
Remember United fans a few weeks ago calling Arsenal bottlers! You couldn't even defend your legacy! đđđđ
@@GranTurismoRaceReplays Well, are we wrong? Losing in a final to City is one thing, but being 8 points clear, and then bottling it like Arsenal did is way different:)
@Dumbledore 8 points clear of the best team in the world, with the youngest squad in the league and an inexperienced manager. Thanks for the compliment. Anyway, back to you bottling the final today and helping City trample your legacy into meaningless dust. I thought you guys would at least put up a fight! Lmao!
Did u say good result we just handed city a possible treble đ
This is not the right attitude, it is sad seeing what this board have done to the fans
Ericsen was the problem of that game. Slow, not strong and very absent minded
Yeah heâs done
Heâs sooo slow itâs like heâs standing still
Weak*
How is Ericson in that team, I don't know
YH I THOUGHT SAME.
Madrid found it hard to play against city with amazing players throughout the team you canât expect this Utd team to do any better than what they did imo
We can expect a lot to be fair we were once one of the biggest clubs but not anymore under Glazers ownership
Simply these team is not good enough.
Yes we can. We may not have the quality of Man City, but only half our players played with any passion
@@BigGriffDog427 being realistic tho Utd have had a good season from what ten hag took over
At the Etihad. Madrid did well at Bernabeu, went toe to toe and had better chances. Neutral ground is different though of course.
I'd be the first to criticise a poor performance but I actually think calling UTD's performance a disgrace is harsh. It certainly wasn't good with no real chances created but I do believe the players put in an effort but they just aren't on the level that City are and it's that simple. What's a great performance against this City team? You don't really see it happen with any team
Agreed. Look who city have beat. They made arsenal, so called title challengers an average team on three occasions this year alone. RM in the second leg were made to look awful and it goes on and on
City didnât even get out of first gear
Exactly, utd is not at the same level, but hopefully with the right players, we can beat them..
Even Real get thrashed, so our performance as a team today is totally acceptable
Nobody was running at 2-1 down, 15 minutes to go, against city, fa cup final, to stop the treble. And I see players not putting in a challenge etc... thats why its a disgrace.
Disgrace? City is way better, way better players. What could ETH have done more with this squad?? It is a disgrace for City, a team so good, beating a team like United just 2-1. That says so much about ETH. Give him good players and we will see what he is capable of. When we lost our first two games and were 20th place, people were wining about relegation. And now people wining with UCL, Carabao cup, second place in FA Cup and we beat the champions of Spain, FC Barcelona in europa cup. Fake fans, please go to the blue side of Manchester. Yâall forgetting what a crazy good first season this was with the average squad we have. Could be so much worse. As a Dutch man, if âfansâ keep talking like this about ETH, he better go. No backing from the board and trashtalk of the âfansâ. This genius deserves better than this.
Think they did the best they couldâve today
i absolutely agree with you, but the 'disgrace' in this game were those two goals eriksen gifted to gundogan
Of course we want United te succeed. But people arent realistic anymore. Maguire, weghorst etc on the bench and we expect to win the treble ourself. ETH did the unexpected and deserves some respect. People forgot we used to have an Olé who never had a plan. Now we have a tacticus
Honestly bro Utd fans love ETH, people are just frustrated at the result
City didn't even play pass 2nd gear because united looked already dead!
They don't have to waste energy and risk injury when they have a bigger final next week!
Completely incorrect analogy, a team off the back of the worst season in history, having played the most games in Europe and we finished 3rd with a trophy without a bench. We lost 2-1 to a team that laughed Real Madrid off the park. Never satisfied. If ETH had won the domestic double, thereâs be complaints it wasnât the treble. City are the minute are inevitable, one of the greatest teams assembled. We know the shortcomings of the team already for once letâs applaud a season that hasnât just been a complete and utter disappointment for the first time in years.
It is an utter disappointment though, weâve just written off our history to our biggest rivals
@@CokeCansHD That is not our fault, that lays with the club owners and the players. Only proper investment would have kept it alive.
Well yeah. We went out the Europa like a wet fart. Absolutely disgusting. And we went out this putting in as much fight as a sloth. Wake up
Well said đ
Weâre talking about this game and how the players performed in this game. Weâre not talking about the season. Too many players didnât show up to compete today.
"We kept De Bruyne quiet"
Assisted both goals
He didn't assist the 1st. The 1st was from a united header
@@noorgaarddamsgaard9866 it was from a KDB header, he got the official assist
@@wakhaji8777 go check out ur vision. Lindelof won the header that fell to Gundogan

@@claudecarlyle9284 of course some assists are more integral to the creation of goals than others, and he might not have had a dazzling MotM display, but KDB teed up both goals that saw you lose the game, so I guess you didn't keep him quiet enough
Definitely not a disgrace, the players ran their lungs out. Mark went too hard on them, not sure what game he watched. Just a difference in quality.
Disgrace wouldâve been 7-0 Liverpool, City at Ethiad, Sevilla etc.
Apart from Rashford and Sancho, everyone put a shift.

Iâve been saying for the longest time that our midfielders are all aging and have no legs! We need big investment in 3/4 midfielders and a clear out. Baffles me how some fans just think one is enough

Should have someone to run at their defense like Pellestrie
@@gaprise9151 I canât understand why Hag wonât play Pellistri. Craziness
Too harsh. Utd played well 2nd half City defended very well. We created two great chances for Rashford and Garnacho. We pressed them into their crown box and hit the bar. Your too harsh.
We didn't do nothing they weren't even at their best.

garnacho is so so bad player
Pellestri would have given utd more, but no didn't play him. Typical!!
You are disappointed! I understand. I see a Manchester United team that is at the end of an exhausting and emotional season. Thank you lads for a wonderful season. Congrats to City. Next year better
So has Man City⊠and theyâve got one more to go, so thatâs no excuse.
Normal from this generation, accept what it is and not complain. Utd won the treble in 99 with a smaller squad. This season was an improvement but not a good season at all. Man Utd should be challenging on all fronts all the time

Ten Hag said it , sometimes an era comes to an end..we're no longer regarded an elite club in Europe , the very elite recognize City as the best team in the world at the moment
Absolutely agree with you! Hopefully Utd get some new owners that understand how to run a football club
Our decline had already started in the last two years of Fergie's era. Ever since Fergie left his position we lost authority on the pitch due to poor management and recruitment of the club when it comes to coaches, scouts and players. We should have lured Ancelotti as a Ferguson replacement. After that we lost Guardiola to City and the rest is now history. But I have faith in Erik ten Hag, maybe not so much on our board.
Key words being "at the moment" give it a few years and we will be on top have hope and belief boys â€ïž
I think he was aiming that at City. When it comes to an end, everybody has their day.
I could be wrong
is a club that finished 3th in the prem not an elite club anymore?
Think calling our performance a disgrace really isn't fair.
Bruv. We conceded in the 1st minute đ
@@sechabatheletsane9784 they're a much better team than us and we outdid them xG wise, a disgraceful performance is a hammering, we didn't get hammered, we competed, limited their chance creation and conceded to a screamer and a set-piece. The minute they happened is irrelevant.
It was always a difficult task to beat City to begin with...but with 10 men it was impossible...Eriksen was non exisistent...everyone ran past him.
But the ref was your best player so can't really complain there.
Mark is just speaking through emotions. If Madrid couldnt do it, what were we supposed to do? ETH has done well this season, regardless of the outcome. One of the times i dont agree with Goldbridge at all.

I watched Rashford for minutes at a time today. Let City dribble past him. No pressure. Walking. Shoulders dropped. Absolute disgrace.
Heâs a fantastic scorer. But thatâs it.
bro heâs not even a fantastic scorer it was just a short term of scoring for him was never impressed with his âform cause heâs not up to par tbh.
Sancho and Eriksen are just too gentle for tough games like this.
They seem to play like a man would play when he's playing against little girls, and he doesn't want to hurt them, and they just don't have the spirit and the aggression that Martinez, Bruno, Anthony, Rashford, have, and you ever don't see them sprinting _hard_ to get to the ball.
I 100% agree besides Rashford, he certainly belongs in the same category as Sancho at times. If you just make contact with Sancho or get the slightest touch on the ball he just gives up.
Mark sounds like a madman
They really kicked mark
Markâs has got his reaction here completely wrong

Ten Hag Starting Eriksen Over Garnacho Was CriminalđŻ Fred Was Our Man Of The Match
eriksen was obviously going to start? garnacho has always been one to make an impact off the bench which is exactly what he did, we need talent on the bench to bring on just like man city do otherwise itâs too easy for them to constantly get fresh legs on the pitch who can play like a first team player.
â@@cristobalsoza7298What Game did you watch, Fred Followed By Varane And Garnacho
Freds foul gave them the 2:1 lead because he got outskilled by de breuyne man
Donât agree at all. Garnacho should of started ahead of sancho
We are 8 months removed from 5 years of the players quitting and havenât hardly removed anyone. We are two more summers of 5 in and 5 out both times from revamping everything and being able to actually challenge. This season was a success in getting EFL Cup and UCL, issue will be ownership and the ability to churn the squad. Lisandroâs injury killed the spirit of the squad. Iâm content with everything that happened. We need to sell 5 and get 5 more Lisandro-mentality players in. Even Antony has that mentality but couldnât play. I see Mount as being an eventual successor to Bruno that ETH wants long term.
We just donât have the quality to compete with city, they had mahrez, Alvarez and Ederson on the bench
Mahrez is aging, no one knew who alvarez was and the 2nd choice goalie was playing.
Their squad is big plus quality , can't compare with man united
Isn't United's spending about on par with City"s? Antony, Sancho, Martinez, Varane, Wan Bissaka... these were all big moneg signings. Casemiro is a talented and experienced player. Pep is just a better manager demanding the absolute best from his players week in week out
@@noorgaarddamsgaard9866 mahrez would still walk into most teams and Alvarez won the World Cup 6 months ago
Normally I agree with you mark but your assessment of the game was a disgrace
I disagree entirely with you there Mark. I love you but your wrong on that. Utd did not disgrace themselves one bit.
he never gets tired of defending one of the worst keepers in the premier league does he
Mark is a brilliant person and I usually agree with him but today he must admit he is sad about losing and is just angry. We played extremely well and at some points we were even better than them. Man City is just too good to beat.
How can you put Goldbridge in the thumbnail and not have Goldbridge. We dont want to watch these fools
Like ragnick said we need ten new players, ten hag will win plenty with quality players but right now he is working with trash, Rashford is not good enough, to be the main man
Rashford isnât consistent enough to be considered world class.
absolutely, well said!
iâve been said it.
Everyone is saying mark disappeared. Let's have some context, what actually happened?
shouldnt have cut off mark
Mark doesn't get it, he lives in the 90s like most fanbases that live off past success. City are not synthetic, they have a whole group of players that want to play for the club. They play for the badge, they play for the history, they play to be the best there is.
Pep crying after win is not very plasticky is it? City have a lot of passion.
I agree. Every club has to build their history from somewhere, and City has been building theirs for more than a decade now.
Boulder dash. These players just don't have enough fight in them. Rashford, Sancho, Eriksen . WHERE WERE YOU? They didn't Show up for the fight. Even a homeboy like Rashford ought to have known what was at stake! My God! Instead of defending the treble legacy they bent over and took it up the ass!
Sorry Mark but been watching you for a long time and mostly agree with you but I think you have gone too far here........ read the comments we are miles away and to push city the way we did and better then real Madrid did..... I think you been doing this too long your reaction is wrong
the fact that Bissaka was our best player on the pitch says everything about this team
City bring on Foden an English international as a sub. United bring on a Burnley reject
I empathize brother on the overplaying of Bruno, we seen the same with Saka he was dead and we carried on flogging the dead horse
Rashford is a liabilty when we don't have the ball.
95% of this chat can't spell Eriksen right
I think EtH and Brunoâs apathy about stopping a treble was more about not putting pressure on themselves - because we all know what happens when too much pressure is put on this teamâŠ
Sorry to say Bruno has always been part of the problem and Rashford as well, many other players as well but the reason I highlight these two players is the fact that they always get credit. We can target maguire and others but Bruno and rashford are both part of the drama around united
Bruno had a decent game. He created good chances a handful of times but nobody to finish
rashford is likeable and he acts like one of the best but really he has nothing to offer maybe our coaching towards him is bad but he has nothing to offer.. imagine being wegorst in strike knowing no winger is gonna square you the ball... we're probably getting kane to drop deep and pass wide because those attackers will never square that ball maybe sancho if he plays RW
This logic is relevant if you said it last season , but you wrong this season
@Spike Spiegel Don't get me wrong I do love the improvements we have shown from last season into this season but the majority of this current squad is not built on winning because when things get tough these same group of players give up and that's a fact 7-0 6-3 cmon how much times do these players need to get embarrassed for reality to hit them.
Rashford has been a Ronaldo wannabe since day one. That being said, he's improved his game a lot. If he would just lift his head, look for passes and improve his decision making, he would be world-class.
Garnacho should've came on 30 minutes in , Sancho is just not it.
He should have come in half time together with malacia
It was tactical, we were alright when we were running and pressing, even if we werenât as good, the players all took up defensive positions and held them, thatâs tactical!
City won that in 2nd gear. They did the bare minimum to win and knew fine Utd had absolutely nothing upfront to trouble them. Rashford and Sancho were partially rank. Garnacho showed more in his 20 minutes than they did in the full 90. The defence were actually quite good as was Casemerio and Fred it was the rest that let them down.
Fred need to go . The boy is absolutely terrible
Sancho should've come off much earlier. Garnacho changed the pace of the game. We missed Martinez and we still need more players. Dalot would've been better than Shaw. But i dont agree it was a disgrace. Settle down Mark, im getting sick of hearing you whinge. If we ever sell to someone who genuinely cares for this club, then expect results like this. We still pressed high. Like i said, Sancho should've left sooner. He makes too many touches and then loses the ball. It is what it is. We need more players. Til then, this was a good game considering
It wasn't disgraceful Mark. I don't believe we could've achieved any better.
never going to challenge when our front line is rashford , sancho and anthony , never been a more over rated player than rashford
Why we so caught about this treble... If they achieve it then they deserve it.... Simple give credit where credit is due..
It was a piss poor game to watch but United really weren't as bad as Goldbridge makes out. Just the width of a crossbar from forcing extra time. That said, why wasn't the guy who rifled home a screamer in the first few seconds marked at the corner for City's second? Yes there were a lot of bodies in front of him and it was placed right in the corner but Gundogen shanked the volley off his shin and the ball bounced twice before it even reached the keeper who probably should have done better
sometimes the way you treat your viewers are disgusting mate. Have some respect for people with different opinions
City never got out of second gear and our players never got out of the locker room.
Calm down we were never winning. - no chance
Eriksen was day dreaming all of our Main players went missing garnacho played well and Fred we need to spend big this summer
There were players in there today who were up for it. Varane, Fred, Bisaka, Shaw gave it everything. Casemiro can't do it alone. Very disappointed with Sancho, Rashford and Eriksen. De Gea's distribution (sorry Mark) really was poor. Garnacho - he showed more belief than all the other forwards put together.
Completely agree with every word
Completely disagree. That was a best performance United have put in against city for five years. Yes we have won games, but weâve never gone toe to toe with them.
The players gave everything. Just not enough in the day.
Bro the match reaction bottled it
I like Mark, but he is absolutely deluded if he thinks this United team is able to compete with the best team on the planet. He's just butt hurt, that all of Fergusons' hard work over a 20-year period will look like absolute pish if City beat Inter and do the treble. Saying people dont get it is so incredibly insulting. The difference between Mark and fans who accept City are the better team is called a sense of reality. Even if ETH buys every player on his wish list, he won't beat Pep to any title race or cup final in the future. We are simply talking about a skill issue when comparing the two managers of the Manchester clubs.

I have to disagree as I did with our own fans writing us off before the match and after our poor start. We were playing the best team in the world and we are building something. I see progress; it's going to take time. We need new players, but I don't think the ones we have didn't turn up; I think City are a much better team for now. Also, if City get the treble it doesn't change the fact that we've won it.
