It is a shame this song was never released as a single. I fell in love with it the first time A timeless song and one of Frida's masterpieces, her melodic, seductive voice is perfect to be the lead singer for Andante, Andante.

This is the first ever ABBA song I heard. It is my memory of the 70s ABBA. My brother, who is younger than me could quote you every ABBA song. He was a fan when it was unfashionable. Now every cool hipster will tell you they love ABBA and no longer "ironically". My brother educated me and I now like them - a lot. Still, he was "out and proud".
Una, good post! Abba were immensely popular in the first few years, then for some reason it became almost an embarrassment to admit you had their CDs. The reasons for which escape me now. I continued to listen throughout that period. Their music is undeniably great. Andante is a good example of the quality of their work. Abba's music will be played for many years ahead. Long after we've forgotten most of the dross produced nowadays.
Yes, similar to the BeeGees years ago, after their first real popular period. Never understood it, although I wasn't a fan of any disco stuff, but that did not define the BeeGees. Their ballads are excellent and I always stood by them, hehe.

The record labels / management associated with ABBA made some strange decisions with what songs they released as singles and where. This one could and should have been another huge hit. Frida's voice touches the soul and great harmonies as usual.
