hi is there an update? i am so glad ukraine are caring for their people. i remember the european football competition in ukraine when there where mobile crematories driving through streets and throwing stray dogs directly into the fire. their screams where incredible. i am glad the hearts have changed.
I’ve had two dogs who I raised since they were two months old. They both lived to 12 years old. My heart has never been the same. Seeing all these dogs either mistreated or abandoned breaks my heart. Do to unseen circumstances I can’t get another one but one thing is for sure this channel is amazing and bless your huge hearts for helping all these dogs.❤

I've had 2 dogs that I've had since they were 8 weeks old. One shelter dog and one homeless dog without a tag... Both of the dogs I raised since they were pups are now 3 years old and we're inseparable. I have PTSD/Anxiety and both dogs are trained to my emotional support dogs and certified. They know my pain and they know when to take care of me when I needed them. But this comment made me tear up knowing that dogs don't have all the time as humans do. @@JustaUser82nd That's a good point about the time/lifespan. For us, they were here for a relatively small slice of our lives, but for *THEM* , we're more or less in their _entire_ lives. We're their entire life. The saddest curse is how short their lifespans are. I wish they could live 25 years or so.

I don't know about the country where this dog was, but in mine there is a surrender fee which isn't little money to a starving family. And this sweet dog doesn't look starved.

Maybe the owner knew that her dog would be rescued in a place where people go to, and Yukki was rescued and that’s all that matters. There can be circumstances where you no longer can care for your dog, but then bring them to a place where they can look for new owners like your place. Don’t throw them out
I don't believe people ever have a good reason to get rid of their pet. I'm in rescue, and the excuses I hear are always... always, complete BS. The owner dying is the only real reason a dog should ever be left without their home. Financial matters can always be solved, because there are always people (in rescue and otherwise) who would be happy to help keep the dog in their home. Divorce... moving... even fleeing war, are BS excuses. Look how many people either stayed so as not to abandon their elderly family or pets, or people who left but brought their family AND pets. No. Excuse. It's pure evil.
Yes, Yukki's previous care giver made the WRONG decision on how to give her up. I hope Olena finds Yukki the great home she deserves.
Well put. She had good care until this sad event. Owner may have had to give care to an elder and could no longer provide enough stimulation to ensure her best behavior. It's hard to imagine giving up such a beautiful girl, but she's in good hands now.
Exactly. Unless the owner died and the relatives or family didnt want the dog. But dont abandon the dog on the street.
At least the owner did tie her up where people could actually care for her and not just throw here out in the fields. Its telling that the owner had a hard decision to let the dog go, maybe because he had to be at the hospital for long period and nobody to take the dog. The dog has good weight, and looks cared for. Sad that the owner and dog lost each other.

My rescue husky aged 3 died of cancer last week. My heart is broken, she was such a beautiful girl. Thank you to all the wonderful people like you who care for and re home abandoned animals. 😇 😇

Olena, please do not FEED ANY DOG CHOCOLATE ! It's quite poisonous to them and causes seizures and death. 😢

I was horrified to see that as well. It makes sense they would know something so basic, so it probably wasn’t chocolate.
No it isn't. We had a blue healer stole and ate an entire chocolate Easter bunny, about half a pound. She lived many years to about age 14 years.
not in this small amount. 1lb of chocolate per 20lbs of dog weight to actually cause toxicity.
Any vet will tell you that chocolate is poisonous for dogs and cats including nuts my ex dropped peanuts on the floor and my dog ate it I had to take her to the vet she was vomiting really bad also one of the cats ate a little bit of chocolate that my ex dropped on the floor and he was very sick the vet had to fix that too it nearly killed him

@walkertongdee, If the owners don't afford for themselves, then they shouldn't adopt a dog. And from the video, it seems that the dog was well fed. The owners got tired of the responsibilities and they simply abandoned their dog.
A dog is not a toy, we play with him and when we are bored, we abandon him. Specially dogs are very emotional animals and build a bond with their owners.

The country is suffering but we can see from this video , at least two healthy men, just enjoying their smoke and not fight for the freedom of their country.Who is going to war instead of those young and healthy Ukrainians? Some other people? Who is trying to "liberate" you? 'if you don't fight for your country, so that the war would stop, who is going to do it for you? The locals stayed to protect their land from the turks and now is devided in two lands, the official Greek Cypriotic and the not official one of the turkish Cypriotic. I find it odd that our beloved Europe did nothing for Cyprus and is willing to really destroy itself for Ukraine! That is hypocritical! Agreed. We don’t know what happened. I swear people do not realize that there’s war going on in Ukraine before writing their self righteous comments. The city of Odessa where this is filmed, was bombed several times this summer.
I work in a large animal shelter (over 2,000 dogs & 2500 cats & counting) & people are just too embarrassed to just surrender these animals. There are no questions asked, there is no big bad black book. As a owner you have a responsibility to look after your animal & if you are no longer able to do that then you have a responsibility to make sure your animal is placed in the hands of a shelter or even a vet who can contact a shelter. i simply can not believe such a beautiful animal could be just tied up & abandoned like that. Whoever the former owner is they should at least be thanked for taking such great care of Yukki. It doesn't make things right but we see a lot worse.

I found my dog abandoned, malnourished and dehydrated 18 months ago, she was an old lady that just had a bit of bad luck in life, still she showed me with so much love and i always wondered who would be so heartless to discard such a caring, loving, funny, witty and easygoing dog, she had the most gorgeous smile, RIP Coco, you touched my soul and you'll be forever be my beautiful baby Coco.
This Husky mix appears to actually be well cared for before she was abandoned. Great weight and perfect temperament, no signs of stress.

Some right nasty bastards out there who excuse themselves over what they do. They can keep up a lifestyle, but without the one whom they should care the most for. I took in a badly treated dog, very badly treated, and now she has come the other side is full of joy and energy, life is hers.

It brings me to tears to wonder why somebody could just abandon such a beautiful,well mannered dog,I adopted a puppy who was in such a situation and we had nine wonderful years together until he became ill and I lost him just over two years ago and I just can't get another dog yet to replace my boy,but it's just great to see that there are some brilliant people around to save these poor dogs.

We lost SUGAR AFTER 18 YEARS OF NOTHING BUT LOVE FROM HER!! SHES IN HEAVEN NOW WITH HEACHI CO!!! We adopted a beautiful German Shepherd sence then, shes a rescue from Texas!!! Shes Wonderful, & love her with all our heart.. Her name is SIMBA, thank you loard!!!! This Husky is beautiful!!! Had I seen her, she would be our's for sure!! No she was not! Olena said that Love Furry Friends had her spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped at their expense. Not the previous owners. If you look you can see the silver antibacterial spray the vet used on her after surgery.
Just to clarify, the rescue had her spayed - the scar from it is shown in the video - vaccinated, and microchipped. Apparently none of that was done before she was abandoned, then rescued. I fully agree that she looks gorgeous, has a great demeanor, and knows some commands. She has been looked after.
