    The first full-color images captured by the brand-new Euclid Space Telescope have been made public, and they did not disappoint. Never before has a telescope been able to create such razor-sharp astronomical images across such a large patch of the sky and look so far into the distant Universe. These inaugural images showcase Euclid's extraordinary capability to create the most comprehensive 3D map of the universe yet. But what’s so special about the Euclid Space Telescope? How is it different from the $10 billion James Webb Space Telescope? And what’s so special about these five images captured by Euclid from the edge of darkness? Let’s have a look at them one by one in this video.

      Light doesnt dissipates.... but from what they say, in reality we cannot see beyond a certain point... not because of light's dissipation.. but because of some type of curvature... just like we cannot see a ship sailing in the distance beyond a certain point, because of Earth's curvature...
      so.. even if we can make the largest telescopes ever for to see the deepest reaches of our Universe we still cannot see beyond a certain point... its mind blowing to think...

    1:42 "is only possible, if dark matter play a crucial role in holding it together."
    Can you elaborate more on this one? I heard that many astrophysicists are recently DOUBTING in existence of dark matter, as the recent observations from space telescopes revealed that universe behaves in the way that doesn't fit our understanding (like these very early, big galaxies, that "shouldn't exist" so short after Big Bang). Was this problem already sorted out that Dark Matter is back on its throne?

    I’ve always wondered if we find all these galaxies so far away, wouldn’t we need to wait the same amount of time in order to measure the distance? Aka - I cannot construct my question greatly but how exactly do we find that this galaxy it’s let’s say 10 million light years away. Don’t we need to kind of send a signal and wait that long for it to reach and return or how does this happen?

    • @bruizey7319
      @bruizey7319 Před 6 měsíci +2

      We just analyse the light. eg red shift - we know the spectral patterns of different elements when heated, so we cam recognise objects like stars etc, But if that spectral pattern is shifted to a longer wavelength (into the infra red spectrum ie red shift) then that light (electromagnetic waves) has been stretched by the expansion of the universe, How far the light is red shifted by the time it reaches us, is used to determine how far that light has travelled
      Since we know the speed of light, we (meaning people much brighter than us) can determine how long those photons of light took to reach us - say ten million years.

    "What is the true nature of dark matter and dark energy?" ... Neither is dark. What the mortal mind cannot see atomically or comprehend in light of understanding, we call dark.
    Maybe the question should be.... what is the true nature of Spirit matter and the power(s) of GOD? What is the Spiritual light of the universe? Only visible through spiritual eyes and understood by the powers of the Holy Ghost, will we ever know.
    It's amazingly uncanny how today good science, only now theorizes, that dark matter and dark energy dictates all creations physical in the cosmos but somehow does not directly adhere each to the other. It is said that dark matter particles even pass right through the earth. Yet... thousands of years ago we have knowledge handed down to us of personages of spirit matter and transfigured abilities have passed through walls, appear and disappear at will. In fires but do not burn and ability to walk on water. Who would've thunk it??
    Crazy stuff yet the scriptures indeed do tell of Spirit Matter and Spirit energy combining with physical matter in one particular place.
    In a living soul. :>)
