This video is not correct. The company is originally at Italian company. It was named after the founder's initials (Leonardo Servadio) LS - the only thing is the S is pronounced like 'essay' in English, so it really should be pronounced L and then essay. Since it is now an English company they are pronouncing his initials as they sound in English. The only thing is it's origin is Italian.

Surely the whole point is that it's tempting not to pronounce the last 'e' when in fact you should, as the brand name is Italian.
Originally it started as the initials of its founder Leonardo Servadio, which were then 'run together' to form the word ' Ellesse'.
So in my opinion, in the video most people are pronouncing it correctly, ie el-les-say.
Most Italian words end in a vowel and this is hardly ever mute, IE it's always pronounced.
I wonder if a lot of people missed out on a freebie? 😅

It's Elle' ...esse' so guy on the video, you're wrong in your pronunciation. The brands founder was Italian and yes LS were his intials. The brand is British owned now so maybe that's where the pronunciation got botched up.
