Idk about anyone else, but I can't enter photo mode while in the tent. Even if it were possible, he says to press select after the camera is outside the tent. Pressing select takes you OUT of photo mode. What am I missing?
Im going to fire up the game in vanilla and see what's going on here - I hope an update did not prevent this little vanilla hack. Did you try going to exit tent with camera (using the button that makes it free mode and not swivel around player?) - of course that might be the select you are talking about - I'll investigate and let you know.
you realize it takes like 3 mins to catch a catfish but not even thirty second to get a bluegill or pickerel. I agree that three gritty meat is better than one but the time contradicts the method.
When I was using an xbox 360 controller and i made the reddit post version of this, I was catching 6 catfish in 3 minutes - no joke - from this spot, longer if they were far away- but when I went back to make the video of this, It was so long between that I was shocked how hard it was to re-learn how to fish - the controller and the setting to automate a function made all the difference - I'm gonna spend a day if I have to to relearn how to catch quickly because it was like nothing during my intital playthrough once I figured it out - so much I made the reddit post to begin with - maybe I'm wrong about 6, but I dont think so - I was catching them 4-5 seconds every time I casted it out, and there were always 3 in different spots in that location - maybe im thinking of the strike time , but I'll update this comment bc I just have to get to where I was before
@colebass8332 Yeah, unless I've been fishing for several hours in this same prime location, it never takes more than a minute and half or 2 mins at most to catch a catfish at this prime spot. Sometimes it only takes 30 seconds to hook one if you can see where they're swimming in the water. And once it starts to take around 2 minutes, then you just go to sleep in your tent and let time pass and they will all respawn and you can catch them quickly again. Red_Dead_Director knows what he's talking about in the video, my dude!
When I took all the screen shots and documented things it was a couple years before I ever posted anything on CZcams, but back then I would catch one about every 30 seconds - skipping the animations as much as possible - I need to explain the keyboard method better - the controller - its like you say 30 seconds - if it takes more its bc its out there and it takes a few extra to strike it. Its the settings menu that does the magic - configuring the auto reel makes catching fish easy -if focused and knowing the simple by repetition process going @@thetragicfigure

thanks for the feedback, I will do that - it's for single player story mode, which makes a big difference I imagine
