60532 Blue Peter & D6851 on first main line run. Rowley Regis & Langley Green, 30/04/24.

D6851 is first seen at Cradley Heath running as 0Z68 Crewe to SVR to accompany the A2 on the return run to Crewe. Then 5Z68 SVR - Crewe hauling the support coach and Class 37 was Blue Peter's first main line run after overhaul. Hope I get to see it on a railtour one day.

I caught blue Peter at blakedown station and it’s my first time seeing that loco working on the mainline
The last time she was on the mainline was in 2001

Thanks David. I was watching on Kidderminster cam this morning, the loco was turned about an hour before it was due to leave - I was worried it was going back tender first!!!

Blue Peter is much more attractive than a pair of slow as a snail powercars, would you not agree?
