Our Suicide Squad PS5 gameplay shows off the early hours of the game as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark venture into Metropolis and start hunting the first member of the Justice League, the Flash. You’ll hear what it’s like to play as the four antiheroes and how Rocksteady have married their narrative knowhow with the madness of an open world looter shooter. Whether you’re playing alone or in co-op there’s loads to keep you busy here.

I think almosy every game with gear that changes the amount of damage you do has damage numbers
The screen gets so covered every second from all the points and numbers, so much different style than free flow combat or the arkham trilogy’s historu
it’s honestly disappointing how unlike the Arkham games it is- we all want a continuation of the story that takes place in Arkham Knight. We need an offline fixed version thats improved

The way DC have tried to collectively gaslit us numerous times that Suicide Squad is an iconic IP, when in reality no one knows or cares about these characters.
I still can’t get over that the devs chose to cancel their Damian Wayne Arkham game. We could’ve had a sequel to Arkham knight but we got a live service not one asked for with battle passes and you already know their will be 20$ cosmetic bundles.
How would a Damian Wayne game look when everyone who's supposed to raise him is kinda dead?

For all the people wondering, yes, you can shut off all that number's that shows up When you're shooting so you're not constantly seeing a whole number's and score while your playing or you can leave it on if you like it for me i am shutting it off.

I’m getting strong Marvel’s Avengers and Gotham Knights vibes. Good but short story, repetitive and boring gameplay loop and micro transactions that really don’t do squat.

not a fan of suicide squad i trust rocksteady in making a fun game but all those roulettes apearing with the clutter all over the screen and that fortnite dance make this a hard pass for me

It's the final nail in the coffin for any potential of Rocksteady being a well respected developer.
For almost a decade I've wondered which game Rocksteady would bring to the level of a masterpiece, and this is the result. A huge disappointment for me.
I thought a Flash or a Superman game but noooo...it is a generic shooter
I really hope this is elseworld and not direct canon to the arkhamverse. Can’t believe rocksteady would just rewrite everything they did in Knight, and also kill their best boy batman.

Arkhamverse will be dead after this one, so no biggie. Next games are all for the James Gunn DCU.

Graphics look great and story looks good, but this type of live service multiplayer experience with repetitive run and gun sponge combat doesn’t impress me. Especially with what rocksteady is known for with the arkham series. This feels like how Saints Row lost it’s soul completely after number 3 and same with Watch Dogs

I like the chaos of the game because that’s literally the suicide squad, it’s comic book accurate with the suicide squad because they are stupid and quirky it checks all the boxes… gameplay takes getting used too but it’s not actually a bad game it’s not a 11/10 but I’d give it an honest 8.2/10 it’s nice to have a game where I don’t have to be super serious 24/7 whilst playing

Alot of rocksteady employees from back then have actually moved on to other studios or retired so it's technically not the same rocksteady
I do not believe they wanted to make the game, but some "capable" people that sit in the board of directors probably thought they will make loads of money on this and cracked the whip. They do not have a choice.

Rocksteady wanted to make a superman game. don't blame them, blame WB. It looks to me like Rocksteady still did their thing, the game looks impressive in many ways.

I believe some people will find this game good, but not for me, I was blown away by batman arkham series especially arkham knights and played in PS4, PS5, steam deck, and now my gaming PC, hell I built high tier gaming PC to enjoy the arkham knight in their maximum graphic to begin with.

I was watching this with no bias either way but I'm truly confused by this game what is it trying to be in terms of game style it seems like a mess of different games, aside from the gore it strikes me as bit of a arcade game i would see my son enjoying this... there are so many other issues i saw but I'll be typing forever.... I'm not sure what the Rocksteady were doing with this one...
Not Rocksteady ... at least not the developers I hope ... seems like a game that was mandated from high up to be exactly what it's like. A darker toned game where you actually do kill off the JL should be interesting, instead it's just Avengers 2.0 with big numbers to trigger your dopamine response. Bah.

I don't like the flashy neon coloring style(so sick of this trope) and i also don't like the almost cartoony gameplay style. It tries to switch between high-fidelity graphics mode in cutscenes and flashy neon cartoony potato graphics mode. Wth is this? We have waited how many years for this? I didn't think rocksteady would disappoint this badly. Wish they stayed at what they do best, single-player narrative games

The screen is cluttered with numbers, health bars and what not. I think this game will be a strong contender for flop of the year.
